מַשְׂכִּ֗יל לְאָ֫סָ֥ף הַאֲזִ֣ינָה עַ֭מִּי תּוֹרָתִ֑י הַטּ֥וּ אָ֝זְנְכֶ֗ם לְאִמְרֵי פִֽי

אֶפְתְּחָ֣ה בְמָשָׁ֣ל פִּ֑י אַבִּ֥יעָה חִ֝יד֗וֹת מִנִּי קֶֽדֶם

אֲשֶׁ֣ר שָׁ֭מַעְנוּ וַנֵּדָעֵ֑ם וַ֝אֲבוֹתֵ֗ינוּ סִפְּרוּ לָֽנוּ

לֹ֤א נְכַחֵ֨ד מִבְּנֵיהֶ֗ם לְד֥וֹר אַחֲר֗וֹן מְֽ֭סַפְּרִים תְּהִלּ֣וֹת יְהוָ֑ה וֶעֱזוּז֥וֹ וְ֝נִפְלְאוֹתָ֗יו אֲשֶׁ֣ר עָשָֽׂה

וַיָּ֤קֶם עֵד֨וּת בְּֽיַעֲקֹ֗ב וְתוֹרָה֮ שָׂ֤ם בְּיִשְׂרָ֫אֵ֥ל אֲשֶׁ֣ר צִ֭וָּה אֶת אֲבוֹתֵ֑ינוּ לְ֝הוֹדִיעָ֗ם לִבְנֵיהֶֽם

לְמַ֤עַן יֵדְע֨וּ דּ֣וֹר אַ֭חֲרוֹן בָּנִ֣ים יִוָּלֵ֑דוּ יָ֝קֻ֗מוּ וִֽיסַפְּר֥וּ לִבְנֵיהֶֽם

for the sake of · to know · generation · behind · sons · to bear · to rise · and to count · to/for sons their

וְיָשִׂ֥ימוּ בֵֽאלֹהִ֗ים כִּ֫סְלָ֥ם וְלֹ֣א יִ֭שְׁכְּחוּ מַֽעַלְלֵי אֵ֑ל וּמִצְוֺתָ֥יו יִנְצֹֽרוּ

and to put · in/at God(s) · loins their · and not · to forget · deeds of · God · and commandments his · to guard

וְלֹ֤א יִהְי֨וּ כַּאֲבוֹתָ֗ם דּוֹר֮ סוֹרֵ֪ר וּמֹ֫רֶ֥ה דּ֭וֹר לֹא הֵכִ֣ין לִבּ֑וֹ וְלֹא נֶאֶמְנָ֖ה אֶת אֵ֣ל רוּחֽוֹ

בְּֽנֵי אֶפְרַ֗יִם נוֹשְׁקֵ֥י רוֹמֵי קָ֑שֶׁת הָ֝פְכ֗וּ בְּי֣וֹם קְרָֽב

sons of · Ephraim · kissing · throwing · bow · to overturn · in/at day of · battle

לֹ֣א שָׁ֭מְרוּ בְּרִ֣ית אֱלֹהִ֑ים וּ֝בְתוֹרָת֗וֹ מֵאֲנ֥וּ לָלֶֽכֶת

not · to keep · covenant of · God(s) · and in/at law his · to refuse · to walk

וַיִּשְׁכְּח֥וּ עֲלִילוֹתָ֑יו וְ֝נִפְלְאוֹתָ֗יו אֲשֶׁ֣ר הֶרְאָֽם

and to forget · deeds his · and being wonderful him · which · to see them

נֶ֣גֶד אֲ֭בוֹתָם עָ֣שָׂה פֶ֑לֶא בְּאֶ֖רֶץ מִצְרַ֣יִם שְׂדֵה צֹֽעַן

before · fathers their · to do · wonder · in/at land of · Egypt · field of · Zoan

בָּ֣קַע יָ֭ם וַיַּֽעֲבִירֵ֑ם וַֽיַּצֶּב מַ֥יִם כְּמוֹ נֵֽד

to split · sea · and to pass over them · and to stand · water(s) · like · heap

וַיַּנְחֵ֣ם בֶּעָנָ֣ן יוֹמָ֑ם וְכָל הַ֝לַּ֗יְלָה בְּא֣וֹר אֵֽשׁ

and to lead them · in/at the cloud · daytime · and all of · the night · in/at light of · fire

יְבַקַּ֣ע צֻ֭רִים בַּמִּדְבָּ֑ר וַ֝יַּ֗שְׁקְ כִּתְהֹמ֥וֹת רַבָּֽה

to split · rocks · in/at the wilderness · and to water · like/as depths · many

וַיּוֹצִ֣א נוֹזְלִ֣ים מִסָּ֑לַע וַיּ֖וֹרֶד כַּנְּהָר֣וֹת מָֽיִם

and to go out · flowing · from rock · and to go down · like/as the streams · water(s)

וַיּוֹסִ֣יפוּ ע֭וֹד לַחֲטֹא ל֑וֹ לַֽמְר֥וֹת עֶ֝לְי֗וֹן בַּצִּיָּֽה

and to add · still · to sin · to/for him · to rebel · Most High · in/at the drought

וַיְנַסּוּ אֵ֥ל בִּלְבָבָ֑ם לִֽשְׁאָל אֹ֥כֶל לְנַפְשָֽׁם

וַֽיְדַבְּר֗וּ בֵּֽאלֹ֫הִ֥ים אָ֭מְרוּ הֲי֣וּכַל אֵ֑ל לַעֲרֹ֥ךְ שֻׁ֝לְחָ֗ן בַּמִּדְבָּֽר

הֵ֤ן הִכָּה צ֨וּר וַיָּז֣וּבוּ מַיִם֮ וּנְחָלִ֪ים יִ֫שְׁטֹ֥פוּ הֲגַם לֶ֭חֶם י֣וּכַל תֵּ֑ת אִם יָכִ֖ין שְׁאֵ֣ר לְעַמּֽוֹ

לָכֵ֤ן שָׁמַ֥ע יְהוָ֗ה וַֽיִּתְעַבָּ֥ר וְ֭אֵשׁ נִשְּׂקָ֣ה בְיַעֲקֹ֑ב וְגַם אַ֝֗ף עָלָ֥ה בְיִשְׂרָאֵֽל

כִּ֤י לֹ֣א הֶ֭אֱמִינוּ בֵּאלֹהִ֑ים וְלֹ֥א בָ֝טְח֗וּ בִּֽישׁוּעָתֽוֹ

that · not · to confirm · in/at God(s) · and not · to trust · in/at salvation his

וַיְצַ֣ו שְׁחָקִ֣ים מִמָּ֑עַל וְדַלְתֵ֖י שָׁמַ֣יִם פָּתָֽח

and to command · clouds · from above · and doors of · heaven(s) · to open

וַיַּמְטֵ֬ר עֲלֵיהֶ֣ם מָ֣ן לֶאֱכֹ֑ל וּדְגַן שָׁ֝מַ֗יִם נָ֣תַן לָֽמוֹ

לֶ֣חֶם אַ֭בִּירִים אָ֣כַל אִ֑ישׁ צֵידָ֬ה שָׁלַ֖ח לָהֶ֣ם לָשֹֽׂבַע

יַסַּ֣ע קָ֭דִים בַּשָּׁמָ֑יִם וַיְנַהֵ֖ג בְּעֻזּ֣וֹ תֵימָֽן

וַיַּמְטֵ֬ר עֲלֵיהֶ֣ם כֶּעָפָ֣ר שְׁאֵ֑ר וּֽכְח֥וֹל יַ֝מִּ֗ים ע֣וֹף כָּנָֽף

and to rain · upon them · like/as the dust · flesh · and like/as sand of · seas · bird of · wing

וַ֭יַּפֵּל בְּקֶ֣רֶב מַחֲנֵ֑הוּ סָ֝בִ֗יב לְמִשְׁכְּנֹתָֽיו

and to fall · in/at midst of · camp his · round about · to/for dwelling places his

וַיֹּאכְל֣וּ וַיִּשְׂבְּע֣וּ מְאֹ֑ד וְ֝תַֽאֲוָתָ֗ם יָבִ֥א לָהֶֽם

and to eat · and to be satisfied · exceedingly · and desire their · to enter · to/for them

לֹא זָר֥וּ מִתַּאֲוָתָ֑ם ע֝֗וֹד אָכְלָ֥ם בְּפִיהֶֽם

not · to be strange · from desire their · still · food their · in/at mouth their

וְאַ֤ף אֱלֹהִ֨ים עָ֘לָ֤ה בָהֶ֗ם וַֽ֭יַּהֲרֹג בְּמִשְׁמַנֵּיהֶ֑ם וּבַחוּרֵ֖י יִשְׂרָאֵ֣ל הִכְרִֽיעַ

בְּכָל זֹ֭את חָֽטְאוּ ע֑וֹד וְלֹֽא הֶ֝אֱמִ֗ינוּ בְּנִפְלְאוֹתָֽיו

וַיְכַל בַּהֶ֥בֶל יְמֵיהֶ֑ם וּ֝שְׁנוֹתָ֗ם בַּבֶּהָלָֽה

אִם הֲרָגָ֥ם וּדְרָשׁ֑וּהוּ וְ֝שָׁ֗בוּ וְשִֽׁחֲרוּ אֵֽל

וַֽ֭יִּזְכְּרוּ כִּֽי אֱלֹהִ֣ים צוּרָ֑ם וְאֵ֥ל עֶ֝לְיוֹן גֹּאֲלָֽם

and to remember · that · God(s) · rock their · and God · Most High · redeeming them

וַיְפַתּ֥וּהוּ בְּפִיהֶ֑ם וּ֝בִלְשׁוֹנָ֗ם יְכַזְּבוּ לֽוֹ

and to deceive him · in/at mouth their · and in/at tongue their · to lie · to/for him

וְ֭לִבָּם לֹא נָכ֣וֹן עִמּ֑וֹ וְלֹ֥א נֶ֝אֶמְנ֗וּ בִּבְרִיתֽוֹ

and heart their · not · being established · with him · and not · to confirm · in/at covenant his

וְה֤וּא רַח֨וּם יְכַפֵּ֥ר עָוֺן֮ וְֽלֹא יַ֫שְׁחִ֥ית וְ֭הִרְבָּה לְהָשִׁ֣יב אַפּ֑וֹ וְלֹֽא יָ֝עִיר כָּל חֲמָתֽוֹ

וַ֭יִּזְכֹּר כִּי בָשָׂ֣ר הֵ֑מָּה ר֥וּחַ ה֝וֹלֵ֗ךְ וְלֹ֣א יָשֽׁוּב

and to remember · that · flesh · they · spirit · walking · and not · to return

כַּ֭מָּה יַמְר֣וּהוּ בַמִּדְבָּ֑ר יַ֝עֲצִיב֗וּהוּ בִּֽישִׁימֽוֹן

like/as what · to rebel him · in/at the wilderness · to pain him · in/at wilderness

וַיָּשׁ֣וּבוּ וַיְנַסּ֣וּ אֵ֑ל וּקְד֖וֹשׁ יִשְׂרָאֵ֣ל הִתְווּ

and to return · and to test · God · and holy of · Israel · to pain

לֹא זָכְר֥וּ אֶת יָד֑וֹ י֝֗וֹם אֲֽשֶׁר פָּדָ֥ם מִנִּי צָֽר

not · to remember · - · hand his · day · which · to redeem them · from · distress

אֲשֶׁר שָׂ֣ם בְּ֭מִצְרַיִם אֹֽתוֹתָ֑יו וּ֝מוֹפְתָ֗יו בִּשְׂדֵה צֹֽעַן

וַיַּהֲפֹ֣ךְ לְ֭דָם יְאֹרֵיהֶ֑ם וְ֝נֹזְלֵיהֶ֗ם בַּל יִשְׁתָּיֽוּן

יְשַׁלַּ֬ח בָּהֶ֣ם עָ֭רֹב וַיֹּאכְלֵ֑ם וּ֝צְפַרְדֵּ֗עַ וַתַּשְׁחִיתֵֽם

to send · in/at them · swarm · and to eat them · and frogs · and to destroy them

וַיִּתֵּ֣ן לֶחָסִ֣יל יְבוּלָ֑ם וִֽ֝יגִיעָ֗ם לָאַרְבֶּֽה

and to give · to/for the locust · produce their · and toil their · to/for the locust

יַהֲרֹ֣ג בַּבָּרָ֣ד גַּפְנָ֑ם וְ֝שִׁקְמוֹתָ֗ם בַּֽחֲנָמַֽל

to kill · in/at the hail · vine their · and sycamores their · in/at frost

וַיַּסְגֵּ֣ר לַבָּרָ֣ד בְּעִירָ֑ם וּ֝מִקְנֵיהֶ֗ם לָרְשָׁפִֽים

and to shut · to/for the hail · beasts their · and cattle their · to/for the flames

יְשַׁלַּח בָּ֨ם חֲר֬וֹן אַפּ֗וֹ עֶבְרָ֣ה וָזַ֣עַם וְצָרָ֑ה מִ֝שְׁלַ֗חַת מַלְאֲכֵ֥י רָעִֽים

יְפַלֵּ֥ס נָתִ֗יב לְאַ֫פּ֥וֹ לֹא חָשַׂ֣ךְ מִמָּ֣וֶת נַפְשָׁ֑ם וְ֝חַיָּתָ֗ם לַדֶּ֥בֶר הִסְגִּֽיר

וַיַּ֣ךְ כָּל בְּכ֣וֹר בְּמִצְרָ֑יִם רֵאשִׁ֥ית א֝וֹנִ֗ים בְּאָהֳלֵי חָֽם

וַיַּסַּ֣ע כַּצֹּ֣אן עַמּ֑וֹ וַֽיְנַהֲגֵ֥ם כַּ֝עֵ֗דֶר בַּמִּדְבָּֽר

וַיַּנְחֵ֣ם לָ֭בֶטַח וְלֹ֣א פָחָ֑דוּ וְאֶת א֝וֹיְבֵיהֶ֗ם כִּסָּ֥ה הַיָּֽם

and to lead them · to/for security · and not · to fear · and - · enemy them · to cover · the sea

וַ֭יְבִיאֵם אֶל גְּב֣וּל קָדְשׁ֑וֹ הַר זֶ֝֗ה קָנְתָ֥ה יְמִינֽוֹ

and to enter them · to · border of · holiness his · mountain of · this · to acquire · right hand his

וַיְגָ֤רֶשׁ מִפְּנֵיהֶ֨ם גּוֹיִ֗ם וַֽ֭יַּפִּילֵם בְּחֶ֣בֶל נַחֲלָ֑ה וַיַּשְׁכֵּ֥ן בְּ֝אָהֳלֵיהֶ֗ם שִׁבְטֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵֽל

and to drive out · from face(s) their · nations · and to fall them · in/at cord of · inheritance · and to dwell · in/at tents their · staffs of · Israel

וַיְנַסּ֣וּ וַ֭יַּמְרוּ אֶת אֱלֹהִ֣ים עֶלְי֑וֹן וְ֝עֵדוֹתָ֗יו לֹ֣א שָׁמָֽרוּ

and to test · and to rebel · - · God(s) · Most High · and testimonies his · not · to keep

וַיִּסֹּ֣גוּ וַֽ֭יִּבְגְּדוּ כַּאֲבוֹתָ֑ם נֶ֝הְפְּכ֗וּ כְּקֶ֣שֶׁת רְמִיָּֽה

and to backslide · and to betray · like/as fathers their · to overturn · like/as bow of · deceit

וַיַּכְעִיס֥וּהוּ בְּבָמוֹתָ֑ם וּ֝בִפְסִילֵיהֶ֗ם יַקְנִיאֽוּהוּ

and to be angry him · in/at high places their · and in/at idols their · to envy him

שָׁמַ֣ע אֱ֭לֹהִים וַֽיִּתְעַבָּ֑ר וַיִּמְאַ֥ס מְ֝אֹ֗ד בְּיִשְׂרָאֵֽל

to hear · God(s) · and to pass over · and to reject · exceedingly · in/at Israel

וַ֭יִּטֹּשׁ מִשְׁכַּ֣ן שִׁל֑וֹ אֹ֝֗הֶל שִׁכֵּ֥ן בָּאָדָֽם

and to leave · dwelling place of · Shiloh · tent · to dwell · in/at the man

וַיִּתֵּ֣ן לַשְּׁבִ֣י עֻזּ֑וֹ וְֽתִפְאַרְתּ֥וֹ בְיַד צָֽר

and to give · to/for the captivity · strength his · and glory his · in/at hand of · distress

וַיַּסְגֵּ֣ר לַחֶ֣רֶב עַמּ֑וֹ וּ֝בְנַחֲלָת֗וֹ הִתְעַבָּֽר

and to shut · to/for the sword · people his · and in/at inheritance his · to pass over

בַּחוּרָ֥יו אָֽכְלָה אֵ֑שׁ וּ֝בְתוּלֹתָ֗יו לֹ֣א הוּלָּֽלוּ

young men his · to eat · fire · and virgins his · not · to praise

כֹּ֭הֲנָיו בַּחֶ֣רֶב נָפָ֑לוּ וְ֝אַלְמְנֹתָ֗יו לֹ֣א תִבְכֶּֽינָה

priests his · in/at the sword · to fall · and widows his · not · to weep

וַיִּקַ֖ץ כְּיָשֵׁ֥ן אֲדֹנָ֑י כְּ֝גִבּ֗וֹר מִתְרוֹנֵ֥ן מִיָּֽיִן

and to awake · like/as sleeping · Lord my · like/as mighty · shouting · from wine

וַיַּךְ צָרָ֥יו אָח֑וֹר חֶרְפַּ֥ת ע֝וֹלָ֗ם נָ֣תַן לָֽמוֹ

and to strike · distresses his · behind · reproach of · forever · to give · to/for them

וַ֭יִּמְאַס בְּאֹ֣הֶל יוֹסֵ֑ף וּֽבְשֵׁ֥בֶט אֶ֝פְרַ֗יִם לֹ֣א בָחָֽר

and to reject · in/at tent of · Joseph · and in/at staff of · Ephraim · not · to choose

וַ֭יִּבְחַר אֶת שֵׁ֣בֶט יְהוּדָ֑ה אֶֽת הַ֥ר צִ֝יּ֗וֹן אֲשֶׁ֣ר אָהֵֽב

and to choose · - · staff of · Judah · - · mountain of · Zion · which · to love

וַיִּ֣בֶן כְּמוֹ רָ֭מִים מִקְדָּשׁ֑וֹ כְּ֝אֶ֗רֶץ יְסָדָ֥הּ לְעוֹלָֽם

and to build · like · rising · sanctuary his · like/as land · to found her · to/for forever

וַ֭יִּבְחַר בְּדָוִ֣ד עַבְדּ֑וֹ וַ֝יִּקָּחֵ֗הוּ מִֽמִּכְלְאֹ֥ת צֹֽאן

and to choose · in/at David · servant his · and to take him · from folds of · flock

מֵאַחַ֥ר עָל֗וֹת הֱ֫בִיא֥וֹ לִ֭רְעוֹת בְּיַעֲקֹ֣ב עַמּ֑וֹ וּ֝בְיִשְׂרָאֵ֗ל נַחֲלָתֽוֹ

וַ֭יִּרְעֵם כְּתֹ֣ם לְבָב֑וֹ וּבִתְבוּנ֖וֹת כַּפָּ֣יו יַנְחֵֽם

and to shepherd them · like/as integrity of · heart his · and in/at understanding of · palms his · to lead them
