Daniel 11

וַאֲנִי֙ בִּשְׁנַ֣ת אַחַ֔ת לְדָרְיָ֖וֶשׁ הַמָּדִ֑י עָמְדִ֛י לְמַחֲזִ֥יק וּלְמָע֖וֹז לֽוֹ

and I · in/at year of · one · to/for Darius · the Mede · standing my · to/for strengthening · and to/for refuge · to/for him

וְעַתָּ֕ה אֱמֶ֖ת אַגִּ֣יד לָ֑ךְ הִנֵּה עוֹד֩ שְׁלֹשָׁ֨ה מְלָכִ֜ים עֹמְדִ֣ים לְפָרַ֗ס וְהָֽרְבִיעִי֙ יַעֲשִׁ֤יר עֹֽשֶׁר גָּדוֹל֙ מִכֹּ֔ל וּכְחֶזְקָת֣וֹ בְעָשְׁר֔וֹ יָעִ֣יר הַכֹּ֔ל אֵ֖ת מַלְכ֥וּת יָוָֽן

and now · faithfulness · to make known · to/for you · behold · still · three · kings · standing · to/for Persia · and the fourth · to become rich · riches · great · from all · and like/as strength his · in/at riches his · to awake · the all · - · kingdom of · Javan

וְעָמַ֖ד מֶ֣לֶךְ גִּבּ֑וֹר וּמָשַׁל֙ מִמְשָׁ֣ל רַ֔ב וְעָשָׂ֖ה כִּרְצוֹנֽוֹ

and to stand · king of · mighty · and to rule · ruler · many · and to do · like/as pleasure his

וּכְעָמְדוֹ֙ תִּשָּׁבֵ֣ר מַלְכוּת֔וֹ וְתֵחָ֕ץ לְאַרְבַּ֖ע רוּח֣וֹת הַשָּׁמָ֑יִם וְלֹ֣א לְאַחֲרִית֗וֹ וְלֹ֤א כְמָשְׁלוֹ֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר מָשָׁ֔ל כִּ֤י תִנָּתֵשׁ֙ מַלְכוּת֔וֹ וְלַאֲחֵרִ֖ים מִלְּבַד אֵֽלֶּה

and like/as to stand him · to break · kingdom his · and to divide · to/for four · spirits of · the heaven(s) · and not · to/for latter end his · and not · like/as dominion his · which · to rule · that · to uproot · kingdom his · and to/for other · from to/for apart of · these

וְיֶחֱזַ֥ק מֶֽלֶךְ הַנֶּ֖גֶב וּמִן שָׂרָ֑יו וְיֶחֱזַ֤ק עָלָיו֙ וּמָשָׁ֔ל מִמְשָׁ֥ל רַ֖ב מֶמְשַׁלְתּֽוֹ

and to strengthen · king of · the south · and from · princes his · and to strengthen · upon him · and to rule · ruler · many · dominion his

וּלְקֵ֤ץ שָׁנִים֙ יִתְחַבָּ֔רוּ וּבַ֣ת מֶֽלֶךְ הַנֶּ֗גֶב תָּבוֹא֙ אֶל מֶ֣לֶךְ הַצָּפ֔וֹן לַעֲשׂ֖וֹת מֵישָׁרִ֑ים וְלֹֽא תַעְצֹ֞ר כּ֣וֹחַ הַזְּר֗וֹעַ וְלֹ֤א יַעֲמֹד֙ וּזְרֹע֔וֹ וְתִנָּתֵ֨ן הִ֤יא וּמְבִיאֶ֨יהָ֙ וְהַיֹּ֣לְדָ֔הּ וּמַחֲזִקָ֖הּ בָּעִתִּֽים

and to/for end of · years · to bind together · and daughter of · king of · the south · to enter · to · king of · the north · to do · uprightness · and not · to restrain · strength of · the arm · and not · to stand · and arm his · and to give · he · and entering her · and the bearing her · and strengthening her · in/at the times

וְעָמַ֛ד מִנֵּ֥צֶר שָׁרָשֶׁ֖יהָ כַּנּ֑וֹ וְיָבֹ֣א אֶל הַחַ֗יִל וְיָבֹא֙ בְּמָעוֹז֙ מֶ֣לֶךְ הַצָּפ֔וֹן וְעָשָׂ֥ה בָהֶ֖ם וְהֶחֱזִֽיק

and to stand · from sprout of · roots her · pedestal his · and to enter · to · the strength · and to enter · in/at refuge of · king of · the north · and to do · in/at them · and to strengthen

וְגַ֣ם אֱֽלֹהֵיהֶ֡ם עִם נְסִֽכֵיהֶם֩ עִם כְּלֵ֨י חֶמְדָּתָ֜ם כֶּ֧סֶף וְזָהָ֛ב בַּשְּׁבִ֖י יָבִ֣א מִצְרָ֑יִם וְהוּא֙ שָׁנִ֣ים יַעֲמֹ֔ד מִמֶּ֖לֶךְ הַצָּפֽוֹן

and also · God(s) their · with · princes their · with · vessels of · desirable their · silver · and gold · in/at the captivity · to enter · Egypt · and he · years · to stand · from king of · the north

וּבָ֗א בְּמַלְכוּת֙ מֶ֣לֶךְ הַנֶּ֔גֶב וְשָׁ֖ב אֶל אַדְמָתֽוֹ

and to enter · in/at kingdom · king of · the south · and to return · to · ground his

ובנו וּבָנָ֣יו יִתְגָּר֗וּ וְאָסְפוּ֙ הֲמוֹן֙ חֲיָלִ֣ים רַבִּ֔ים וּבָ֥א ב֖וֹא וְשָׁטַ֣ף וְעָבָ֑ר וְיָשֹׁ֥ב ויתגרו וְיִתְגָּרֶ֖ה עַד מעזה מָעֻזּֽוֹ

and son his · and sons his · to stir up strife · and to gather · tumult of · forces · many · and to enter · to enter · and to wash · and to pass over · and to return · and to stir up strife · and to stir up strife · until · refuge her · refuge his

וְיִתְמַרְמַר֙ מֶ֣לֶךְ הַנֶּ֔גֶב וְיָצָ֕א וְנִלְחַ֥ם עִמּ֖וֹ עִם מֶ֣לֶךְ הַצָּפ֑וֹן וְהֶעֱמִיד֙ הָמ֣וֹן רָ֔ב וְנִתַּ֥ן הֶהָמ֖וֹן בְּיָדֽוֹ

and to be bitter · king of · the south · and to go out · and to fight · with him · with · king of · the north · and to stand · tumult · many · and to give · the tumult · in/at hand his

וְנִשָּׂ֥א הֶהָמ֖וֹן ירום וְרָ֣ם לְבָב֑וֹ וְהִפִּ֛יל רִבֹּא֖וֹת וְלֹ֥א יָעֽוֹז

and to lift · the tumult · to rise · and to rise · heart his · and to fall · ten thousands · and not · to be strong

וְשָׁב֙ מֶ֣לֶךְ הַצָּפ֔וֹן וְהֶעֱמִ֣יד הָמ֔וֹן רַ֖ב מִן הָרִאשׁ֑וֹן וּלְקֵ֨ץ הָֽעִתִּ֤ים שָׁנִים֙ יָ֣בוֹא ב֔וֹא בְּחַ֥יִל גָּד֖וֹל וּבִרְכ֥וּשׁ רָֽב

and to return · king of · the north · and to stand · tumult · many · from · the first · and to/for end of · the times · years · to enter · to enter · in/at strength · great · and in/at property · many

וּבָעִתִּ֣ים הָהֵ֔ם רַבִּ֥ים יַֽעַמְד֖וּ עַל מֶ֣לֶךְ הַנֶּ֑גֶב וּבְנֵ֣י פָּרִיצֵ֣י עַמְּךָ֗ יִֽנַּשְּׂא֛וּ לְהַעֲמִ֥יד חָז֖וֹן וְנִכְשָֽׁלוּ

and in/at the times · the they · many · to stand · upon · king of · the south · and sons of · robbers of · people your · to lift · to stand · vision · and to stumble

וְיָבֹא֙ מֶ֣לֶךְ הַצָּפ֔וֹן וְיִשְׁפֹּךְ֙ סֽוֹלֲלָ֔ה וְלָכַ֖ד עִ֣יר מִבְצָר֑וֹת וּזְרֹע֤וֹת הַנֶּ֨גֶב֙ לֹ֣א יַעֲמֹ֔דוּ וְעַם֙ מִבְחָרָ֔יו וְאֵ֥ין כֹּ֖חַ לַעֲמֹֽד

and to enter · king of · the north · and to pour · mound · and to capture · city of · fortresses · and arms of · the south · not · to stand · and people of · choicest his · and nothing · strength · to stand

וְיַ֨עַשׂ הַבָּ֤א אֵלָיו֙ כִּרְצוֹנ֔וֹ וְאֵ֥ין עוֹמֵ֖ד לְפָנָ֑יו וְיַעֲמֹ֥ד בְּאֶֽרֶץ הַצְּבִ֖י וְכָלָ֥ה בְיָדֽוֹ

and to do · the entering · to him · like/as pleasure his · and nothing · standing · to/for face(s) his · and to stand · in/at land of · the beauty · and destruction · in/at hand his

וְיָשֵׂ֣ם פָּ֠נָיו לָב֞וֹא בְּתֹ֧קֶף כָּל מַלְכוּת֛וֹ וִישָׁרִ֥ים עִמּ֖וֹ וְעָשָׂ֑ה וּבַ֤ת הַנָּשִׁים֙ יִתֶּן ל֣וֹ לְהַשְׁחִיתָ֔הּ וְלֹ֥א תַעֲמֹ֖ד וְלֹא ל֥וֹ תִהְיֶֽה

and to put · face(s) his · to enter · in/at power of · all of · kingdom his · and upright · with him · and to do · and daughter of · the women · to give · to/for him · to destroy her · and not · to stand · and not · to/for him · to be

וישב וְיָשֵׂ֧ם פָּנָ֛יו לְאִיִּ֖ים וְלָכַ֣ד רַבִּ֑ים וְהִשְׁבִּ֨ית קָצִ֤ין חֶרְפָּתוֹ֙ ל֔וֹ בִּלְתִּ֥י חֶרְפָּת֖וֹ יָשִׁ֥יב לֽוֹ

and to return · and to put · face(s) his · to/for islands · and to capture · many · and to cease · ruler · reproach his · to/for him · except · reproach his · to return · to/for him

וְיָשֵׁ֣ב פָּנָ֔יו לְמָעוּזֵּ֖י אַרְצ֑וֹ וְנִכְשַׁ֥ל וְנָפַ֖ל וְלֹ֥א יִמָּצֵֽא

and to return · face(s) his · to/for refuges of · land his · and to stumble · and to fall · and not · to find

וְעָמַ֧ד עַל כַּנּ֛וֹ מַעֲבִ֥יר נוֹגֵ֖שׂ הֶ֣דֶר מַלְכ֑וּת וּבְיָמִ֤ים אֲחָדִים֙ יִשָּׁבֵ֔ר וְלֹ֥א בְאַפַּ֖יִם וְלֹ֥א בְמִלְחָמָֽה

and to stand · upon · pedestal his · passing over · oppressing · splendor of · kingdom · and in/at days · one · to break · and not · in/at nostrils · and not · in/at battle

וְעָמַ֤ד עַל כַּנּוֹ֙ נִבְזֶ֔ה וְלֹא נָתְנ֥וּ עָלָ֖יו ה֣וֹד מַלְכ֑וּת וּבָ֣א בְשַׁלְוָ֔ה וְהֶחֱזִ֥יק מַלְכ֖וּת בַּחֲלַקְלַקּֽוֹת

and to stand · upon · pedestal his · despising · and not · to give · upon him · majesty of · kingdom · and to enter · in/at quietness · and to strengthen · kingdom · in/at flatteries

וּזְרֹע֥וֹת הַשֶּׁ֛טֶף יִשָּׁטְפ֥וּ מִלְּפָנָ֖יו וְיִשָּׁבֵ֑רוּ וְגַ֖ם נְגִ֥יד בְּרִֽית

וּבְהִכָּ֣שְׁלָ֔ם יֵעָזְר֖וּ עֵ֣זֶר מְעָ֑ט וְנִלְו֧וּ עֲלֵיהֶ֛ם רַבִּ֖ים בַּחֲלַקְלַקּֽוֹת

וּמִן הַמַּשְׂכִּילִ֣ים יִכָּֽשְׁל֗וּ לִצְר֥וֹף בָּהֶ֛ם וּלְבָרֵ֥ר וְלַלְבֵּ֖ן עַד עֵ֣ת קֵ֑ץ כִּי ע֖וֹד לַמּוֹעֵֽד

וְעָשָׂ֨ה כִרְצוֹנ֜וֹ הַמֶּ֗לֶךְ וְיִתְרוֹמֵ֤ם וְיִתְגַּדֵּל֙ עַל כָּל אֵ֔ל וְעַל֙ אֵ֣ל אֵלִ֔ים יְדַבֵּ֖ר נִפְלָא֑וֹת וְהִצְלִ֨יחַ֙ עַד כָּ֣לָה זַ֔עַם כִּ֥י נֶחֱרָצָ֖ה נֶעֱשָֽׂתָה

וְעָשָׂ֞ה לְמִבְצְרֵ֤י מָֽעֻזִּים֙ עִם אֱל֣וֹהַּ נֵכָ֔ר אֲשֶׁ֥ר הכיר יַכִּ֖יר יַרְבֶּ֣ה כָב֑וֹד וְהִמְשִׁילָם֙ בָּֽרַבִּ֔ים וַאֲדָמָ֖ה יְחַלֵּ֥ק בִּמְחִֽיר

וּבְעֵ֣ת קֵ֗ץ יִתְנַגַּ֤ח עִמּוֹ֙ מֶ֣לֶךְ הַנֶּ֔גֶב וְיִשְׂתָּעֵ֨ר עָלָ֜יו מֶ֣לֶךְ הַצָּפ֗וֹן בְּרֶ֨כֶב֙ וּבְפָ֣רָשִׁ֔ים וּבָאֳנִיּ֖וֹת רַבּ֑וֹת וּבָ֥א בַאֲרָצ֖וֹת וְשָׁטַ֥ף וְעָבָֽר

וּבָא֙ בְּאֶ֣רֶץ הַצְּבִ֔י וְרַבּ֖וֹת יִכָּשֵׁ֑לוּ וְאֵ֨לֶּה֙ יִמָּלְט֣וּ מִיָּד֔וֹ אֱד֣וֹם וּמוֹאָ֔ב וְרֵאשִׁ֖ית בְּנֵ֥י עַמּֽוֹן

וְיִשְׁלַ֥ח יָד֖וֹ בַּאֲרָצ֑וֹת וְאֶ֣רֶץ מִצְרַ֔יִם לֹ֥א תִהְיֶ֖ה לִפְלֵיטָֽה

וּמָשַׁ֗ל בְּמִכְמַנֵּי֙ הַזָּהָ֣ב וְהַכֶּ֔סֶף וּבְכֹ֖ל חֲמֻד֣וֹת מִצְרָ֑יִם וְלֻבִ֥ים וְכֻשִׁ֖ים בְּמִצְעָדָֽיו

וּשְׁמֻע֣וֹת יְבַהֲלֻ֔הוּ מִמִּזְרָ֖ח וּמִצָּפ֑וֹן וְיָצָא֙ בְּחֵמָ֣א גְדֹלָ֔ה לְהַשְׁמִ֥יד וּֽלְהַחֲרִ֖ים רַבִּֽים

וְיִטַּע֙ אָהֳלֶ֣י אַפַּדְנ֔וֹ בֵּ֥ין יַמִּ֖ים לְהַר צְבִי קֹ֑דֶשׁ וּבָא֙ עַד קִצּ֔וֹ וְאֵ֥ין עוֹזֵ֖ר לֽוֹ

and to plant · tents of · palace his · between · seas · to/for mountain of · beauty of · holiness · and to enter · until · end his · and nothing · helping · to/for him
