מִֽי יִתֵּ֤ן רֹאשִׁי֙ מַ֔יִם וְעֵינִ֖י מְק֣וֹר דִּמְעָ֑ה וְאֶבְכֶּה֙ יוֹמָ֣ם וָלַ֔יְלָה אֵ֖ת חַֽלְלֵ֥י בַת עַמִּֽי

who · to give · head my · water(s) · and eye my · spring of · tears · and to weep · daytime · and night · - · slain of · daughter of · people my

מִֽי יִתְּנֵ֣נִי בַמִּדְבָּ֗ר מְלוֹן֙ אֹֽרְחִ֔ים וְאֶֽעֶזְבָה֙ אֶת עַמִּ֔י וְאֵלְכָ֖ה מֵֽאִתָּ֑ם כִּ֤י כֻלָּם֙ מְנָ֣אֲפִ֔ים עֲצֶ֖רֶת בֹּגְדִֽים

who · to give me · in/at the wilderness · inn of · journeying · and to leave · - · people my · and to walk · from with them · that · all their · committing adultery · assembly of · betraying

וַֽיַּדְרְכ֤וּ אֶת לְשׁוֹנָם֙ קַשְׁתָּ֣ם שֶׁ֔קֶר וְלֹ֥א לֶאֱמוּנָ֖ה גָּבְר֣וּ בָאָ֑רֶץ כִּי֩ מֵרָעָ֨ה אֶל רָעָ֧ה יָצָ֛אוּ וְאֹתִ֥י לֹֽא יָדָ֖עוּ נְאֻם יְהוָֽה

and to tread · - · tongue their · bow their · lie · and not · to/for fidelity · to be strong · in/at the land · that · from evil · to · evil · to go out · and - me · not · to know · utterance of · LORD

אִ֤ישׁ מֵרֵעֵ֨הוּ֙ הִשָּׁמֵ֔רוּ וְעַל כָּל אָ֖ח אַל תִּבְטָ֑חוּ כִּ֤י כָל אָח֙ עָק֣וֹב יַעְקֹ֔ב וְכָל רֵ֖עַ רָכִ֥יל יַהֲלֹֽךְ

man · from friend his · keep · and upon · all of · brother · not · to trust · that · all of · brother · to supplant · to supplant · and all of · friend · slanderer · to walk

וְאִ֤ישׁ בְּרֵעֵ֨הוּ֙ יְהָתֵ֔לּוּ וֶאֱמֶ֖ת לֹ֣א יְדַבֵּ֑רוּ לִמְּד֧וּ לְשׁוֹנָ֛ם דַּבֶּר שֶׁ֖קֶר הַעֲוֵ֥ה נִלְאֽוּ

and man · in/at friend his · to mock · and faithfulness · not · to speak · to learn · tongue their · to speak · lie · to twist · to be weary

שִׁבְתְּךָ֖ בְּת֣וֹךְ מִרְמָ֑ה בְּמִרְמָ֛ה מֵאֲנ֥וּ דַֽעַת אוֹתִ֖י נְאֻם יְהוָֽה

to dwell you · in/at midst of · deceit · in/at deceit · to refuse · to know · - me · utterance of · LORD

לָכֵ֗ן כֹּ֤ה אָמַר֙ יְהוָ֣ה צְבָא֔וֹת הִנְנִ֥י צוֹרְפָ֖ם וּבְחַנְתִּ֑ים כִּֽי אֵ֣יךְ אֶעֱשֶׂ֔ה מִפְּנֵ֖י בַּת עַמִּֽי

חֵ֥ץ שוחט שָׁח֛וּט לְשׁוֹנָ֖ם מִרְמָ֣ה דִבֵּ֑ר בְּפִ֗יו שָׁל֤וֹם אֶת רֵעֵ֨הוּ֙ יְדַבֵּ֔ר וּבְקִרְבּ֖וֹ יָשִׂ֥ים אָרְבּֽוֹ

arrow · slaughtering · slaughtered · tongue their · deceit · to speak · in/at mouth his · peace · with · friend his · to speak · and in/at midst his · to put · ambuscade his

הַעַל אֵ֥לֶּה לֹֽא אֶפְקָד בָּ֖ם נְאֻם יְהוָ֑ה אִ֚ם בְּג֣וֹי אֲשֶׁר כָּזֶ֔ה לֹ֥א תִתְנַקֵּ֖ם נַפְשִֽׁי

upon · these · not · to visit · in/at them · utterance of · LORD · if · in/at nation · which · like/as this · not · to avenge · soul my

עַל הֶ֨הָרִ֜ים אֶשָּׂ֧א בְכִ֣י וָנֶ֗הִי וְעַל נְא֤וֹת מִדְבָּר֙ קִינָ֔ה כִּ֤י נִצְּתוּ֙ מִבְּלִי אִ֣ישׁ עֹבֵ֔ר וְלֹ֥א שָׁמְע֖וּ ק֣וֹל מִקְנֶ֑ה מֵע֤וֹף הַשָּׁמַ֨יִם֙ וְעַד בְּהֵמָ֔ה נָדְד֖וּ הָלָֽכוּ

upon · the mountains · to lift · weeping · and lamentation · and upon · pastures of · wilderness · lamentation · that · to kindle · from without of · man · passing over · and not · to hear · voice of · cattle · from bird of · the heaven(s) · and until · beast · to flee · to walk

וְנָתַתִּ֧י אֶת יְרוּשָׁלִַ֛ם לְגַלִּ֖ים מְע֣וֹן תַּנִּ֑ים וְאֶת עָרֵ֧י יְהוּדָ֛ה אֶתֵּ֥ן שְׁמָמָ֖ה מִבְּלִ֖י יוֹשֵֽׁב

and to give · - · Jerusalem · to/for waves · dwelling of · serpents · and - · cities of · Judah · to give · desolation · from without of · dwelling

מִֽי הָאִ֤ישׁ הֶֽחָכָם֙ וְיָבֵ֣ן אֶת זֹ֔את וַאֲשֶׁ֨ר דִּבֶּ֧ר פִּֽי יְהוָ֛ה אֵלָ֖יו וְיַגִּדָ֑הּ עַל מָה֙ אָבְדָ֣ה הָאָ֔רֶץ נִצְּתָ֥ה כַמִּדְבָּ֖ר מִבְּלִ֖י עֹבֵֽר

who · the man · the wise · and to understand · - · this · and which · to speak · mouth of · LORD · to him · and to make known her · upon · what · to perish · the land · to kindle · like/as the wilderness · from without of · passing over

וַיֹּ֣אמֶר יְהוָ֔ה עַל עָזְבָם֙ אֶת תּ֣וֹרָתִ֔י אֲשֶׁ֥ר נָתַ֖תִּי לִפְנֵיהֶ֑ם וְלֹא שָׁמְע֥וּ בְקוֹלִ֖י וְלֹא הָ֥לְכוּ בָֽהּ

and to say · LORD · upon · to leave them · - · law my · which · to give · to/for face(s) their · and not · to hear · in/at voice my · and not · to walk · in/at her

וַיֵּ֣לְכ֔וּ אַחֲרֵ֖י שְׁרִר֣וּת לִבָּ֑ם וְאַחֲרֵי֙ הַבְּעָלִ֔ים אֲשֶׁ֥ר לִמְּד֖וּם אֲבוֹתָֽם

and to walk · after · stubbornness of · heart their · and after · the Baal · which · to learn them · fathers their

לָכֵ֗ן כֹּֽה אָמַ֞ר יְהוָ֤ה צְבָאוֹת֙ אֱלֹהֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל הִנְנִ֧י מַאֲכִילָ֛ם אֶת הָעָ֥ם הַזֶּ֖ה לַֽעֲנָ֑ה וְהִשְׁקִיתִ֖ים מֵי רֹֽאשׁ

וַהֲפִֽצוֹתִים֙ בַּגּוֹיִ֔ם אֲשֶׁר֙ לֹ֣א יָֽדְע֔וּ הֵ֖מָּה וַֽאֲבוֹתָ֑ם וְשִׁלַּחְתִּ֤י אַֽחֲרֵיהֶם֙ אֶת הַחֶ֔רֶב עַ֥ד כַּלּוֹתִ֖י אוֹתָֽם

and to scatter them · in/at the nations · which · not · to know · they · and fathers their · and to send · after them · - · the sword · until · to finish me · - them

כֹּ֤ה אָמַר֙ יְהוָ֣ה צְבָא֔וֹת הִתְבּֽוֹנְנ֛וּ וְקִרְא֥וּ לַמְקוֹנְנ֖וֹת וּתְבוֹאֶ֑ינָה וְאֶל הַחֲכָמ֥וֹת שִׁלְח֖וּ וְתָבֽוֹאנָה

thus · to say · LORD · armies · understand · and call · to/for the lamenting · and to enter · and to · the wise · send · and to enter

וּתְמַהֵ֕רְנָה וְתִשֶּׂ֥נָה עָלֵ֖ינוּ נֶ֑הִי וְתֵרַ֤דְנָה עֵינֵ֨ינוּ֙ דִּמְעָ֔ה וְעַפְעַפֵּ֖ינוּ יִזְּלוּ מָֽיִם

and to hasten · and to lift · upon us · lamentation · and to go down · eyes our · tears · and eyelids our · to flow · water(s)

כִּ֣י ק֥וֹל נְהִ֛י נִשְׁמַ֥ע מִצִּיּ֖וֹן אֵ֣יךְ שֻׁדָּ֑דְנוּ בֹּ֤שְׁנֽוּ מְאֹד֙ כִּֽי עָזַ֣בְנוּ אָ֔רֶץ כִּ֥י הִשְׁלִ֖יכוּ מִשְׁכְּנוֹתֵֽינוּ

כִּֽי שְׁמַ֤עְנָה נָשִׁים֙ דְּבַר יְהוָ֔ה וְתִקַּ֥ח אָזְנְכֶ֖ם דְּבַר פִּ֑יו וְלַמֵּ֤דְנָה בְנֽוֹתֵיכֶם֙ נֶ֔הִי וְאִשָּׁ֥ה רְעוּתָ֖הּ קִינָֽה

כִּֽי עָ֤לָה מָ֨וֶת֙ בְּחַלּוֹנֵ֔ינוּ בָּ֖א בְּאַרְמְנוֹתֵ֑ינוּ לְהַכְרִ֤ית עוֹלָל֙ מִח֔וּץ בַּחוּרִ֖ים מֵרְחֹבֽוֹת

דַּבֵּ֗ר כֹּ֚ה נְאֻם יְהוָ֔ה וְנָֽפְלָה֙ נִבְלַ֣ת הָֽאָדָ֔ם כְּדֹ֖מֶן עַל פְּנֵ֣י הַשָּׂדֶ֑ה וּכְעָמִ֛יר מֵאַחֲרֵ֥י הַקֹּצֵ֖ר וְאֵ֥ין מְאַסֵּֽף

כֹּ֣ה אָמַ֣ר יְהוָ֗ה אַל יִתְהַלֵּ֤ל חָכָם֙ בְּחָכְמָת֔וֹ וְאַל יִתְהַלֵּ֥ל הַגִּבּ֖וֹר בִּגְבֽוּרָת֑וֹ אַל יִתְהַלֵּ֥ל עָשִׁ֖יר בְּעָשְׁרֽוֹ

thus · to say · LORD · not · to praise · wise · in/at wisdom his · and not · to praise · the mighty · in/at strength his · not · to praise · rich · in/at riches his

כִּ֣י אִם בְּזֹ֞את יִתְהַלֵּ֣ל הַמִּתְהַלֵּ֗ל הַשְׂכֵּל֮ וְיָדֹ֣עַ אוֹתִי֒ כִּ֚י אֲנִ֣י יְהוָ֔ה עֹ֥שֶׂה חֶ֛סֶד מִשְׁפָּ֥ט וּצְדָקָ֖ה בָּאָ֑רֶץ כִּֽי בְאֵ֥לֶּה חָפַ֖צְתִּי נְאֻם יְהוָֽה

עַל מִצְרַ֣יִם וְעַל יְהוּדָ֗ה וְעַל אֱד֞וֹם וְעַל בְּנֵ֤י עַמּוֹן֙ וְעַל מוֹאָ֔ב וְעַל֙ כָּל קְצוּצֵ֣י פֵאָ֔ה הַיֹּשְׁבִ֖ים בַּמִּדְבָּ֑ר כִּ֤י כָל הַגּוֹיִם֙ עֲרֵלִ֔ים וְכָל בֵּ֥ית יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל עַרְלֵי לֵֽב
