ה֚וֹי אֲרִיאֵ֣ל אֲרִיאֵ֔ל קִרְיַ֖ת חָנָ֣ה דָוִ֑ד סְפ֥וּ שָׁנָ֛ה עַל שָׁנָ֖ה חַגִּ֥ים יִנְקֹֽפוּ

alas · Ariel · Ariel · city of · to encamp · David · sweep away · year · upon · year · feasts · to strike

וַהֲצִיק֖וֹתִי לַֽאֲרִיאֵ֑ל וְהָיְתָ֤ה תַֽאֲנִיָּה֙ וַֽאֲנִיָּ֔ה וְהָ֥יְתָה לִּ֖י כַּאֲרִיאֵֽל

and to constrain · to/for Ariel · and to be · mourning · and mourning · and to be · to/for me · like/as Ariel

וְחָנִ֥יתִי כַדּ֖וּר עָלָ֑יִךְ וְצַרְתִּ֤י עָלַ֨יִךְ֙ מֻצָּ֔ב וַהֲקִֽימֹתִ֥י עָלַ֖יִךְ מְצֻרֹֽת

and to encamp · like/as the ball · upon you · and to besiege · upon you · entrenchment · and to rise · upon you · ramparts

וְשָׁפַלְתְּ֙ מֵאֶ֣רֶץ תְּדַבֵּ֔רִי וּמֵֽעָפָ֖ר תִּשַּׁ֣ח אִמְרָתֵ֑ךְ וְֽ֠הָיָה כְּא֤וֹב מֵאֶ֨רֶץ֙ קוֹלֵ֔ךְ וּמֵעָפָ֖ר אִמְרָתֵ֥ךְ תְּצַפְצֵֽף

and to humble · from land · to speak · and from dust · to bow down · word your · and to be · like/as water skin bottle · from land · voice your · and from dust · word your · to chirp

וְהָיָ֛ה כְּאָבָ֥ק דַּ֖ק הֲמ֣וֹן זָרָ֑יִךְ וּכְמֹ֤ץ עֹבֵר֙ הֲמ֣וֹן עָֽרִיצִ֔ים וְהָיָ֖ה לְפֶ֥תַע פִּתְאֹֽם

and to be · like/as dust · thin · tumult of · strange your · and like/as chaff · passing over · tumult of · awesome · and to be · to/for suddenness · suddenly

מֵעִ֨ם יְהוָ֤ה צְבָאוֹת֙ תִּפָּקֵ֔ד בְּרַ֥עַם וּבְרַ֖עַשׁ וְק֣וֹל גָּד֑וֹל סוּפָה֙ וּסְעָרָ֔ה וְלַ֖הַב אֵ֥שׁ אוֹכֵלָֽה

from with · LORD · armies · to visit · in/at thunder · and in/at earthquake · and voice · great · Suphah · and tempest · and flame of · fire · eating

וְהָיָ֗ה כַּֽחֲלוֹם֙ חֲז֣וֹן לַ֔יְלָה הֲמוֹן֙ כָּל הַגּוֹיִ֔ם הַצֹּבְאִ֖ים עַל אֲרִיאֵ֑ל וְכָל צֹבֶ֨יהָ֙ וּמְצֹ֣דָתָ֔הּ וְהַמְּצִיקִ֖ים לָֽהּ

and to be · like/as dream · vision of · night · tumult of · all of · the nations · the waging war · upon · Ariel · and all of · waging war her · and siege her · and the constraining · to/for her

וְהָיָ֡ה כַּאֲשֶׁר֩ יַחֲלֹ֨ם הָרָעֵ֜ב וְהִנֵּ֣ה אוֹכֵ֗ל וְהֵקִיץ֮ וְרֵיקָ֣ה נַפְשׁוֹ֒ וְכַאֲשֶׁ֨ר יַחֲלֹ֤ם הַצָּמֵא֙ וְהִנֵּ֣ה שֹׁתֶ֔ה וְהֵקִיץ֙ וְהִנֵּ֣ה עָיֵ֔ף וְנַפְשׁ֖וֹ שׁוֹקֵקָ֑ה כֵּ֣ן יִֽהְיֶ֗ה הֲמוֹן֙ כָּל הַגּוֹיִ֔ם הַצֹּבְאִ֖ים עַל הַ֥ר צִיּֽוֹן

and to be · like/as which · to dream · the hungry · and behold · eating · and to awake · and empty · soul his · and like/as which · to dream · the thirsty · and behold · drinking · and to awake · and behold · weary · and soul his · running · thus · to be · tumult of · all of · the nations · the waging war · upon · mountain of · Zion

הִתְמַהְמְה֣וּ וּתְמָ֔הוּ הִשְׁתַּֽעַשְׁע֖וּ וָשֹׁ֑עוּ שָֽׁכְר֣וּ וְלֹא יַ֔יִן נָע֖וּ וְלֹ֥א שֵׁכָֽר
