וְדָוִ֗ד עָבַ֤ר מְעַט֙ מֵֽהָרֹ֔אשׁ וְהִנֵּ֥ה צִיבָ֛א נַ֥עַר מְפִי בֹ֖שֶׁת לִקְרָאת֑וֹ וְצֶ֨מֶד חֲמֹרִ֜ים חֲבֻשִׁ֗ים וַעֲלֵיהֶם֩ מָאתַ֨יִם לֶ֜חֶם וּמֵאָ֧ה צִמּוּקִ֛ים וּמֵ֥אָה קַ֖יִץ וְנֵ֥בֶל יָֽיִן

and David · to pass over · few · from the head · and behold · Ziba · boy of · Mephibosheth · Mephibosheth · to meet him · and yoke of · donkeys · bound · and upon them · hundred · bread · and hundred · bunches of raisins · and hundred · summer · and skin bottle of · wine

וַיֹּ֧אמֶר הַמֶּ֛לֶךְ אֶל צִיבָ֖א מָה אֵ֣לֶּה לָּ֑ךְ וַיֹּ֣אמֶר צִ֠יבָא הַחֲמוֹרִ֨ים לְבֵית הַמֶּ֜לֶךְ לִרְכֹּ֗ב ולהלחם וְהַלֶּ֤חֶם וְהַקַּ֨יִץ֙ לֶאֱכ֣וֹל הַנְּעָרִ֔ים וְהַיַּ֕יִן לִשְׁתּ֥וֹת הַיָּעֵ֖ף בַּמִּדְבָּֽר

and to say · the king · to · Ziba · what · these · to/for you · and to say · Ziba · the donkeys · to/for house of · the king · to ride · and to/for the bread · and the bread · and the summer · to eat · the boys · and the wine · to drink · the weary · in/at the wilderness

וַיֹּ֣אמֶר הַמֶּ֔לֶךְ וְאַיֵּ֖ה בֶּן אֲדֹנֶ֑יךָ וַיֹּ֨אמֶר צִיבָ֜א אֶל הַמֶּ֗לֶךְ הִנֵּה֙ יוֹשֵׁ֣ב בִּירוּשָׁלִַ֔ם כִּ֣י אָמַ֔ר הַיּ֗וֹם יָשִׁ֤יבוּ לִי֙ בֵּ֣ית יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל אֵ֖ת מַמְלְכ֥וּת אָבִֽי

and to say · the king · and where · son of · lords your · and to say · Ziba · to · the king · behold · dwelling · in/at Jerusalem · that · to say · the day · to return · to/for me · house of · Israel · - · kingdom of · father my

וַיֹּ֤אמֶר הַמֶּ֨לֶךְ֙ לְצִבָ֔א הִנֵּ֣ה לְךָ֔ כֹּ֖ל אֲשֶׁ֣ר לִמְפִי בֹ֑שֶׁת וַיֹּ֤אמֶר צִיבָא֙ הִֽשְׁתַּחֲוֵ֔יתִי אֶמְצָא חֵ֥ן בְּעֵינֶ֖יךָ אֲדֹנִ֥י הַמֶּֽלֶךְ

and to say · the king · to/for Ziba · behold · to/for you · all · which · to/for Mephibosheth · Mephibosheth · and to say · Ziba · to bow down · to find · grace · in/at eyes your · lord my · the king

וּבָ֛א הַמֶּ֥לֶךְ דָּוִ֖ד עַד בַּֽחוּרִ֑ים וְהִנֵּ֣ה מִשָּׁם֩ אִ֨ישׁ יוֹצֵ֜א מִמִּשְׁפַּ֣חַת בֵּית שָׁא֗וּל וּשְׁמוֹ֙ שִׁמְעִ֣י בֶן גֵּרָ֔א יֹצֵ֥א יָצ֖וֹא וּמְקַלֵּֽל

and to enter · the king · David · until · Bahurim · and behold · from there · man · going out · from family of · house of · Saul · and name his · Shimei · son of · Gera · going out · to go out · and being light

וַיְסַקֵּ֤ל בָּֽאֲבָנִים֙ אֶת דָּוִ֔ד וְאֶת כָּל עַבְדֵ֖י הַמֶּ֣לֶךְ דָּוִ֑ד וְכָל הָעָם֙ וְכָל הַגִּבֹּרִ֔ים מִימִינ֖וֹ וּמִשְּׂמֹאלֽוֹ

and to stone · in/at the stones · - · David · and - · all of · servants of · the king · David · and all of · the people · and all of · the mighty · from right hand his · and from left his

וְכֹֽה אָמַ֥ר שִׁמְעִ֖י בְּקַֽלְל֑וֹ צֵ֥א צֵ֛א אִ֥ישׁ הַדָּמִ֖ים וְאִ֥ישׁ הַבְּלִיָּֽעַל

and thus · to say · Shimei · in/at to be light him · go out · go out · man of · the blood · and man of · the worthlessness

הֵשִׁיב֩ עָלֶ֨יךָ יְהוָ֜ה כֹּ֣ל דְּמֵ֣י בֵית שָׁא֗וּל אֲשֶׁ֤ר מָלַ֨כְתָּ֙ תחתו תַּחְתָּ֔יו וַיִּתֵּ֤ן יְהוָה֙ אֶת הַמְּלוּכָ֔ה בְּיַ֖ד אַבְשָׁל֣וֹם בְּנֶ֑ךָ וְהִנְּךָ֙ בְּרָ֣עָתֶ֔ךָ כִּ֛י אִ֥ישׁ דָּמִ֖ים אָֽתָּה

וַיֹּ֨אמֶר אֲבִישַׁ֤י בֶּן צְרוּיָה֙ אֶל הַמֶּ֔לֶךְ לָ֣מָּה יְקַלֵּ֞ל הַכֶּ֤לֶב הַמֵּת֙ הַזֶּ֔ה אֶת אֲדֹנִ֖י הַמֶּ֑לֶךְ אֶעְבְּרָה נָּ֖א וְאָסִ֥ירָה אֶת רֹאשֽׁוֹ

and to say · Abishai · son of · Zeruiah · to · the king · to/for what · to be light · the dog · the dying · the this · - · lord my · the king · to pass over · please · and to turn aside · - · head his

וַיֹּ֣אמֶר הַמֶּ֔לֶךְ מַה לִּ֥י וְלָכֶ֖ם בְּנֵ֣י צְרֻיָ֑ה כי כֹּ֣ה יְקַלֵּ֗ל וכי כִּ֤י יְהוָה֙ אָ֤מַר לוֹ֙ קַלֵּ֣ל אֶת דָּוִ֔ד וּמִ֣י יֹאמַ֔ר מַדּ֖וּעַ עָשִׂ֥יתָה כֵּֽן

and to say · the king · what · to/for me · and to/for you · sons of · Zeruiah · that · thus · to be light · and that · that · LORD · to say · to/for him · be light · - · David · and who · to say · why · to do · thus

וַיֹּ֨אמֶר דָּוִ֤ד אֶל אֲבִישַׁי֙ וְאֶל כָּל עֲבָדָ֔יו הִנֵּ֥ה בְנִ֛י אֲשֶׁר יָצָ֥א מִמֵּעַ֖י מְבַקֵּ֣שׁ אֶת נַפְשִׁ֑י וְאַ֨ף כִּֽי עַתָּ֜ה בֶּן הַיְמִינִ֗י הַנִּ֤חוּ לוֹ֙ וִֽיקַלֵּ֔ל כִּ֥י אָֽמַר ל֖וֹ יְהוָֽה

and to say · David · to · Abishai · and to · all of · servants his · behold · son my · which · to go out · from bowels my · seeking · - · soul my · and also · that · now · Benjamite · the Benjamite · rest · to/for him · and to be light · that · to say · to/for him · LORD

אוּלַ֛י יִרְאֶ֥ה יְהוָ֖ה בעוני בְּעֵינִ֑י וְהֵשִׁ֨יב יְהוָ֥ה לִי֙ טוֹבָ֔ה תַּ֥חַת קִלְלָת֖וֹ הַיּ֥וֹם הַזֶּֽה

perhaps · to see · LORD · in/at iniquity my · in/at eye my · and to return · LORD · to/for me · good · under · curse his · the day · the this

וַיֵּ֧לֶךְ דָּוִ֛ד וַאֲנָשָׁ֖יו בַּדָּ֑רֶךְ וְשִׁמְעִ֡י הֹלֵךְ֩ בְּצֵ֨לַע הָהָ֜ר לְעֻמָּת֗וֹ הָלוֹךְ֙ וַיְקַלֵּ֔ל וַיְסַקֵּ֤ל בָּֽאֲבָנִים֙ לְעֻמָּת֔וֹ וְעִפַּ֖ר בֶּעָפָֽר

and to walk · David · and men his · in/at the way · and Shimei · walking · in/at rib of · the mountain · to/for beside his · to walk · and to be light · and to stone · in/at the stones · to/for beside his · and to dust · in/at the dust

וַיָּבֹ֥א הַמֶּ֛לֶךְ וְכָל הָעָ֥ם אֲשֶׁר אִתּ֖וֹ עֲיֵפִ֑ים וַיִּנָּפֵ֖שׁ שָֽׁם

and to enter · the king · and all of · the people · which · with him · weary · and to refresh · there

וְאַבְשָׁל֗וֹם וְכָל הָעָם֙ אִ֣ישׁ יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל בָּ֖אוּ יְרוּשָׁלִָ֑ם וַאֲחִיתֹ֖פֶל אִתּֽוֹ

and Absalom · and all of · the people · man of · Israel · to enter · Jerusalem · and Ahithophel · with him

וַיְהִ֗י כַּֽאֲשֶׁר בָּ֞א חוּשַׁ֧י הָאַרְכִּ֛י רֵעֶ֥ה דָוִ֖ד אֶל אַבְשָׁל֑וֹם וַיֹּ֤אמֶר חוּשַׁי֙ אֶל אַבְשָׁלֹ֔ם יְחִ֥י הַמֶּ֖לֶךְ יְחִ֥י הַמֶּֽלֶךְ

and to be · like/as which · to enter · Hushai · the Archite · friend of · David · to · Absalom · and to say · Hushai · to · Absalom · to live · the king · to live · the king

וַיֹּ֤אמֶר אַבְשָׁלוֹם֙ אֶל חוּשַׁ֔י זֶ֥ה חַסְדְּךָ֖ אֶת רֵעֶ֑ךָ לָ֥מָּה לֹֽא הָלַ֖כְתָּ אֶת רֵעֶֽךָ

and to say · Absalom · to · Hushai · this · kindness your · with · friend your · to/for what · not · to walk · with · friend your

וַיֹּ֣אמֶר חוּשַׁי֮ אֶל אַבְשָׁלֹם֒ לֹ֕א כִּי֩ אֲשֶׁ֨ר בָּחַ֧ר יְהוָ֛ה וְהָעָ֥ם הַזֶּ֖ה וְכָל אִ֣ישׁ יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל לא ל֥וֹ אֶהְיֶ֖ה וְאִתּ֥וֹ אֵשֵֽׁב

and to say · Hushai · to · Absalom · not · that · which · to choose · LORD · and the people · the this · and all of · man of · Israel · not · to/for him · to be · and with him · to dwell

וְהַשֵּׁנִ֗ית לְמִי֙ אֲנִ֣י אֶֽעֱבֹ֔ד הֲל֖וֹא לִפְנֵ֣י בְנ֑וֹ כַּאֲשֶׁ֤ר עָבַ֨דְתִּי֙ לִפְנֵ֣י אָבִ֔יךָ כֵּ֖ן אֶהְיֶ֥ה לְפָנֶֽיךָ

וַיֹּ֤אמֶר אֲחִיתֹ֨פֶל֙ אֶל אַבְשָׁלֹ֔ם בּ֚וֹא אֶל פִּלַגְשֵׁ֣י אָבִ֔יךָ אֲשֶׁ֥ר הִנִּ֖יחַ לִשְׁמ֣וֹר הַבָּ֑יִת וְשָׁמַ֤ע כָּל יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ כִּֽי נִבְאַ֣שְׁתָּ אֶת אָבִ֔יךָ וְחָ֣זְק֔וּ יְדֵ֖י כָּל אֲשֶׁ֥ר אִתָּֽךְ

and to say · Ahithophel · to · Absalom · enter · to · concubines of · father your · which · to rest · to keep · the house · and to hear · all of · Israel · that · to stink · with · father your · and to strengthen · hands of · all of · which · with you

וַיַּטּ֧וּ לְאַבְשָׁל֛וֹם הָאֹ֖הֶל עַל הַגָּ֑ג וַיָּבֹ֤א אַבְשָׁלוֹם֙ אֶל פִּֽלַגְשֵׁ֣י אָבִ֔יו לְעֵינֵ֖י כָּל יִשְׂרָאֵֽל

and to stretch out · to/for Absalom · the tent · upon · the roof · and to enter · Absalom · to · concubines of · father his · to/for eyes of · all of · Israel

וַעֲצַ֣ת אֲחִיתֹ֗פֶל אֲשֶׁ֤ר יָעַץ֙ בַּיָּמִ֣ים הָהֵ֔ם כַּאֲשֶׁ֥ר יִשְׁאַל אִ֖ישׁ בִּדְבַ֣ר הָאֱלֹהִ֑ים כֵּ֚ן כָּל עֲצַ֣ת אֲחִיתֹ֔פֶל גַּם לְדָוִ֖ד גַּ֥ם לְאַבְשָׁלֹֽם
