וַיֵּ֥רֶד שִׁמְשׁ֖וֹן תִּמְנָ֑תָה וַיַּ֥רְא אִשָּׁ֛ה בְּתִמְנָ֖תָה מִבְּנ֥וֹת פְּלִשְׁתִּֽים

וַיַּ֗עַל וַיַּגֵּד֙ לְאָבִ֣יו וּלְאִמּ֔וֹ וַיֹּ֗אמֶר אִשָּׁ֛ה רָאִ֥יתִי בְתִמְנָ֖תָה מִבְּנ֣וֹת פְּלִשְׁתִּ֑ים וְעַתָּ֕ה קְחוּ אוֹתָ֥הּ לִּ֖י לְאִשָּֽׁה

and to go up · and to make known · to/for father his · and to/for mother his · and to say · woman · to see · in/at Timnah toward · from daughters of · Philistines · and now · take · - her · to/for me · to/for woman

וַיֹּ֨אמֶר ל֜וֹ אָבִ֣יו וְאִמּ֗וֹ הַאֵין֩ בִּבְנ֨וֹת אַחֶ֤יךָ וּבְכָל עַמִּי֙ אִשָּׁ֔ה כִּֽי אַתָּ֤ה הוֹלֵךְ֙ לָקַ֣חַת אִשָּׁ֔ה מִפְּלִשְׁתִּ֖ים הָעֲרֵלִ֑ים וַיֹּ֨אמֶר שִׁמְשׁ֤וֹן אֶל אָבִיו֙ אוֹתָ֣הּ קַֽח לִ֔י כִּֽי הִ֖יא יָשְׁרָ֥ה בְעֵינָֽי

and to say · to/for him · father his · and mother his · nothing · in/at daughters of · brothers your · and in/at all of · people my · woman · that · you · walking · to take · woman · from Philistines · the uncircumcised · and to say · Samson · to · father his · - her · take · to/for me · that · he · to be right · in/at eyes my

וְאָבִ֨יו וְאִמּ֜וֹ לֹ֣א יָדְע֗וּ כִּ֤י מֵיְהוָה֙ הִ֔יא כִּי תֹאֲנָ֥ה הֽוּא מְבַקֵּ֖שׁ מִפְּלִשְׁתִּ֑ים וּבָעֵ֣ת הַהִ֔יא פְּלִשְׁתִּ֖ים מֹשְׁלִ֥ים בְּיִשְׂרָאֵֽל

and father his · and mother his · not · to know · that · from LORD · he · that · heat · he · seeking · from Philistines · and in/at the time · the he · Philistines · ruling · in/at Israel

וַיֵּ֧רֶד שִׁמְשׁ֛וֹן וְאָבִ֥יו וְאִמּ֖וֹ תִּמְנָ֑תָה וַיָּבֹ֨אוּ֙ עַד כַּרְמֵ֣י תִמְנָ֔תָה וְהִנֵּה֙ כְּפִ֣יר אֲרָי֔וֹת שֹׁאֵ֖ג לִקְרָאתֽוֹ

and to go down · Samson · and father his · and mother his · Timnah toward · and to enter · until · vineyards of · Timnah toward · and behold · young lion of · lions · roaring · to meet him

וַתִּצְלַ֨ח עָלָ֜יו ר֣וּחַ יְהוָ֗ה וַֽיְשַׁסְּעֵ֨הוּ֙ כְּשַׁסַּ֣ע הַגְּדִ֔י וּמְא֖וּמָה אֵ֣ין בְּיָד֑וֹ וְלֹ֤א הִגִּיד֙ לְאָבִ֣יו וּלְאִמּ֔וֹ אֵ֖ת אֲשֶׁ֥ר עָשָֽׂה

and to prosper · upon him · spirit of · LORD · and to split him · like/as to split · the kid · and anything · nothing · in/at hand his · and not · to make known · to/for father his · and to/for mother his · - · which · to do

וַיֵּ֖רֶד וַיְדַבֵּ֣ר לָאִשָּׁ֑ה וַתִּישַׁ֖ר בְּעֵינֵ֥י שִׁמְשֽׁוֹן

and to go down · and to speak · to/for the woman · and to be right · in/at eyes of · Samson

וַיָּ֤שָׁב מִיָּמִים֙ לְקַחְתָּ֔הּ וַיָּ֣סַר לִרְא֔וֹת אֵ֖ת מַפֶּ֣לֶת הָאַרְיֵ֑ה וְהִנֵּ֨ה עֲדַ֧ת דְּבוֹרִ֛ים בִּגְוִיַּ֥ת הָאַרְיֵ֖ה וּדְבָֽשׁ

and to return · from days · to take her · and to turn aside · to see · - · carcass of · the lion · and behold · congregation of · bees · in/at corpse of · the lion · and honey

וַיִּרְדֵּ֣הוּ אֶל כַּפָּ֗יו וַיֵּ֤לֶךְ הָלוֹךְ֙ וְאָכֹ֔ל וַיֵּ֨לֶךְ֙ אֶל אָבִ֣יו וְאֶל אִמּ֔וֹ וַיִּתֵּ֥ן לָהֶ֖ם וַיֹּאכֵ֑לוּ וְלֹֽא הִגִּ֣יד לָהֶ֔ם כִּ֛י מִגְּוִיַּ֥ת הָאַרְיֵ֖ה רָדָ֥ה הַדְּבָֽשׁ

and to rule him · to · palms his · and to walk · to walk · and to eat · and to walk · to · father his · and to · mother his · and to give · to/for them · and to eat · and not · to make known · to/for them · that · from corpse of · the lion · to rule · the honey

וַיֵּ֥רֶד אָבִ֖יהוּ אֶל הָאִשָּׁ֑ה וַיַּ֨עַשׂ שָׁ֤ם שִׁמְשׁוֹן֙ מִשְׁתֶּ֔ה כִּ֛י כֵּ֥ן יַעֲשׂ֖וּ הַבַּחוּרִֽים

and to go down · father his · to · the woman · and to do · there · Samson · feast · that · thus · to do · the young men

וַיְהִ֖י כִּרְאוֹתָ֣ם אוֹת֑וֹ וַיִּקְחוּ֙ שְׁלֹשִׁ֣ים מֵֽרֵעִ֔ים וַיִּהְי֖וּ אִתּֽוֹ

and to be · like/as to see them · - him · and to take · thirty · friends · and to be · with him

וַיֹּ֤אמֶר לָהֶם֙ שִׁמְשׁ֔וֹן אָחֽוּדָה נָּ֥א לָכֶ֖ם חִידָ֑ה אִם הַגֵּ֣ד תַּגִּידוּ֩ אוֹתָ֨הּ לִ֜י שִׁבְעַ֨ת יְמֵ֤י הַמִּשְׁתֶּה֙ וּמְצָאתֶ֔ם וְנָתַתִּ֤י לָכֶם֙ שְׁלֹשִׁ֣ים סְדִינִ֔ים וּשְׁלֹשִׁ֖ים חֲלִפֹ֥ת בְּגָדִֽים

and to say · to/for them · Samson · to propose a riddle · please · to/for you · riddle · if · to make known · to make known · - her · to/for me · seven · days of · the feast · and to find · and to give · to/for you · thirty · linen wrappers · and thirty · changes of · garments

וְאִם לֹ֣א תוּכְלוּ֮ לְהַגִּ֣יד לִי֒ וּנְתַתֶּ֨ם אַתֶּ֥ם לִי֙ שְׁלֹשִׁ֣ים סְדִינִ֔ים וּשְׁלֹשִׁ֖ים חֲלִיפ֣וֹת בְּגָדִ֑ים וַיֹּ֣אמְרוּ ל֔וֹ ח֥וּדָה חִידָתְךָ֖ וְנִשְׁמָעֶֽנָּה

and if · not · to prevail · to make known · to/for me · and to give · you · to/for me · thirty · linen wrappers · and thirty · changes of · garments · and to say · to/for him · propose a riddle · riddle your · and to hear her

וַיֹּ֣אמֶר לָהֶ֗ם מֵהָֽאֹכֵל֙ יָצָ֣א מַאֲכָ֔ל וּמֵעַ֖ז יָצָ֣א מָת֑וֹק וְלֹ֥א יָכְל֛וּ לְהַגִּ֥יד הַחִידָ֖ה שְׁלֹ֥שֶׁת יָמִֽים

and to say · to/for them · from the the eating · to go out · food · and from strong · to go out · sweet · and not · to prevail · to make known · the riddle · three · days

וַיְהִ֣י בַּיּ֣וֹם הַשְּׁבִיעִ֗י וַיֹּאמְר֤וּ לְאֵֽשֶׁת שִׁמְשׁוֹן֙ פַּתִּ֣י אֶת אִישֵׁ֗ךְ וְיַגֶּד לָ֨נוּ֙ אֶת הַ֣חִידָ֔ה פֶּן נִשְׂרֹ֥ף אוֹתָ֛ךְ וְאֶת בֵּ֥ית אָבִ֖יךְ בָּאֵ֑שׁ הַלְיָרְשֵׁ֕נוּ קְרָאתֶ֥ם לָ֖נוּ הֲלֹֽא

and to be · in/at the day · the seventh · and to say · to/for woman of · Samson · deceive · - · man your · and to make known · to/for us · - · the riddle · lest · to burn · - you · and - · house of · father your · in/at the fire · the to inherit · to call · to/for us · not

וַתֵּבְךְּ֩ אֵ֨שֶׁת שִׁמְשׁ֜וֹן עָלָ֗יו וַתֹּ֨אמֶר֙ רַק שְׂנֵאתַ֨נִי֙ וְלֹ֣א אֲהַבְתָּ֔נִי הַֽחִידָ֥ה חַ֨דְתָּ֙ לִבְנֵ֣י עַמִּ֔י וְלִ֖י לֹ֣א הִגַּ֑דְתָּה וַיֹּ֣אמֶר לָ֗הּ הִנֵּ֨ה לְאָבִ֧י וּלְאִמִּ֛י לֹ֥א הִגַּ֖דְתִּי וְלָ֥ךְ אַגִּֽיד

וַתֵּ֤בְךְּ עָלָיו֙ שִׁבְעַ֣ת הַיָּמִ֔ים אֲשֶׁר הָיָ֥ה לָהֶ֖ם הַמִּשְׁתֶּ֑ה וַיְהִ֣י בַּיּ֣וֹם הַשְּׁבִיעִ֗י וַיַּגֶּד לָהּ֙ כִּ֣י הֱצִיקַ֔תְהוּ וַתַּגֵּ֥ד הַחִידָ֖ה לִבְנֵ֥י עַמָּֽהּ

and to weep · upon him · seven · the days · which · to be · to/for them · the feast · and to be · in/at the day · the seventh · and to make known · to/for her · that · to constrain him · and to make known · the riddle · to/for sons of · people her

וַיֹּ֣אמְרוּ לוֹ֩ אַנְשֵׁ֨י הָעִ֜יר בַּיּ֣וֹם הַשְּׁבִיעִ֗י בְּטֶ֨רֶם֙ יָבֹ֣א הַחַ֔רְסָה מַה מָּת֣וֹק מִדְּבַ֔שׁ וּמֶ֥ה עַ֖ז מֵאֲרִ֑י וַיֹּ֣אמֶר לָהֶ֔ם לוּלֵא֙ חֲרַשְׁתֶּ֣ם בְּעֶגְלָתִ֔י לֹ֥א מְצָאתֶ֖ם חִידָתִֽי

and to say · to/for him · men of · the city · in/at the day · the seventh · in/at before · to enter · the itch toward · what · sweet · from honey · and what · strong · from lion · and to say · to/for them · unless · to plough · in/at heifer my · not · to find · riddle my

וַתִּצְלַ֨ח עָלָ֜יו ר֣וּחַ יְהוָ֗ה וַיֵּ֨רֶד אַשְׁקְל֜וֹן וַיַּ֥ךְ מֵהֶ֣ם שְׁלֹשִׁ֣ים אִ֗ישׁ וַיִּקַּח֙ אֶת חֲלִ֣יצוֹתָ֔ם וַיִּתֵּן֙ הַחֲלִיפ֔וֹת לְמַגִּידֵ֖י הַחִידָ֑ה וַיִּ֣חַר אַפּ֔וֹ וַיַּ֖עַל בֵּ֥ית אָבִֽיהוּ

and to prosper · upon him · spirit of · LORD · and to go down · Ashkelon · and to strike · from them · thirty · man · and to take · - · spoils their · and to give · the changes · to/for making known · the riddle · and to be angry · nose his · and to go up · house of · father his

וַתְּהִ֖י אֵ֣שֶׁת שִׁמְשׁ֑וֹן לְמֵ֣רֵעֵ֔הוּ אֲשֶׁ֥ר רֵעָ֖ה לֽוֹ

and to be · woman of · Samson · to/for friend his · which · to shepherd · to/for him
