וְאַתָּ֨ה בֶן אָדָ֜ם קַח לְךָ֣ חֶ֣רֶב חַדָּ֗ה תַּ֤עַר הַגַּלָּבִים֙ תִּקָּחֶ֣נָּה לָּ֔ךְ וְהַעֲבַרְתָּ֥ עַל רֹאשְׁךָ֖ וְעַל זְקָנֶ֑ךָ וְלָקַחְתָּ֥ לְךָ֛ מֹאזְנֵ֥י מִשְׁקָ֖ל וְחִלַּקְתָּֽם

and you · son of · man · take · to/for you · sword · sharp · razor of · the barbers · to take her · to/for you · and to pass over · upon · head your · and upon · beard your · and to take · to/for you · scales of · weight · and to divide them

שְׁלִשִׁ֗ית בָּא֤וּר תַּבְעִיר֙ בְּת֣וֹךְ הָעִ֔יר כִּמְלֹ֖את יְמֵ֣י הַמָּצ֑וֹר וְלָֽקַחְתָּ֣ אֶת הַשְּׁלִשִׁ֗ית תַּכֶּ֤ה בַחֶ֨רֶב֙ סְבִ֣יבוֹתֶ֔יהָ וְהַשְּׁלִשִׁית֙ תִּזְרֶ֣ה לָר֔וּחַ וְחֶ֖רֶב אָרִ֥יק אַחֲרֵיהֶֽם

third · in/at the flame · to burn · in/at midst of · the city · like/as to fill · days of · the siege · and to take · - · the third · to strike · in/at the sword · surroundings her · and the third · to scatter · to/for the spirit · and sword · to empty · after them

וְלָקַחְתָּ֥ מִשָּׁ֖ם מְעַ֣ט בְּמִסְפָּ֑ר וְצַרְתָּ֥ אוֹתָ֖ם בִּכְנָפֶֽיךָ

and to take · from there · few · in/at number · and to besiege · - them · in/at wings your

וּמֵהֶם֙ ע֣וֹד תִּקָּ֔ח וְהִשְׁלַכְתָּ֤ אוֹתָם֙ אֶל תּ֣וֹךְ הָאֵ֔שׁ וְשָׂרַפְתָּ֥ אֹתָ֖ם בָּאֵ֑שׁ מִמֶּ֥נּוּ תֵצֵא אֵ֖שׁ אֶל כָּל בֵּ֥ית יִשְׂרָאֵֽל

כֹּ֤ה אָמַר֙ אֲדֹנָ֣י יְהֹוִ֔ה זֹ֚את יְר֣וּשָׁלִַ֔ם בְּת֥וֹךְ הַגּוֹיִ֖ם שַׂמְתִּ֑יהָ וּסְבִיבוֹתֶ֖יהָ אֲרָצֽוֹת

thus · to say · Lord my · LORD · this · Jerusalem · in/at midst of · the nations · to put her · and surroundings her · lands

וַתֶּ֨מֶר אֶת מִשְׁפָּטַ֤י לְרִשְׁעָה֙ מִן הַגּוֹיִ֔ם וְאֶ֨ת חֻקּוֹתַ֔י מִן הָאֲרָצ֖וֹת אֲשֶׁ֣ר סְבִיבוֹתֶ֑יהָ כִּ֤י בְמִשְׁפָּטַי֙ מָאָ֔סוּ וְחֻקּוֹתַ֖י לֹא הָלְכ֥וּ בָהֶֽם

and to rebel · - · judgments my · to/for wickedness · from · the nations · and - · statutes my · from · the lands · which · surroundings her · that · in/at judgments my · to reject · and statutes my · not · to walk · in/at them

לָכֵ֞ן כֹּֽה אָמַ֣ר אֲדֹנָ֣י יְהוִ֗ה יַ֤עַן הֲמָנְכֶם֙ מִן הַגּוֹיִם֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר סְבִיבֽוֹתֵיכֶ֔ם בְּחֻקּוֹתַי֙ לֹ֣א הֲלַכְתֶּ֔ם וְאֶת מִשְׁפָּטַ֖י לֹ֣א עֲשִׂיתֶ֑ם וּֽכְמִשְׁפְּטֵ֧י הַגּוֹיִ֛ם אֲשֶׁ֥ר סְבִיבוֹתֵיכֶ֖ם לֹ֥א עֲשִׂיתֶֽם

לָכֵ֗ן כֹּ֤ה אָמַר֙ אֲדֹנָ֣י יְהוִ֔ה הִנְנִ֥י עָלַ֖יִךְ גַּם אָ֑נִי וְעָשִׂ֧יתִי בְתוֹכֵ֛ךְ מִשְׁפָּטִ֖ים לְעֵינֵ֥י הַגּוֹיִֽם

וְעָשִׂ֣יתִי בָ֗ךְ אֵ֚ת אֲשֶׁ֣ר לֹֽא עָשִׂ֔יתִי וְאֵ֛ת אֲשֶֽׁר לֹֽא אֶעֱשֶׂ֥ה כָמֹ֖הוּ ע֑וֹד יַ֖עַן כָּל תּוֹעֲבֹתָֽיִךְ

לָכֵ֗ן אָב֞וֹת יֹאכְל֤וּ בָנִים֙ בְּתוֹכֵ֔ךְ וּבָנִ֖ים יֹאכְל֣וּ אֲבוֹתָ֑ם וְעָשִׂ֤יתִי בָךְ֙ שְׁפָטִ֔ים וְזֵרִיתִ֥י אֶת כָּל שְׁאֵרִיתֵ֖ךְ לְכָל רֽוּחַ

לָכֵ֣ן חַי אָ֗נִי נְאֻם֮ אֲדֹנָ֣י יְהוִה֒ אִם לֹ֗א יַ֚עַן אֶת מִקְדָּשִׁ֣י טִמֵּ֔את בְּכָל שִׁקּוּצַ֖יִךְ וּבְכָל תּוֹעֲבֹתָ֑יִךְ וְגַם אֲנִ֤י אֶגְרַע֙ וְלֹא תָח֣וֹס עֵינִ֔י וְגַם אֲנִ֖י לֹ֥א אֶחְמֽוֹל

שְׁלִשִׁתֵ֞יךְ בַּדֶּ֣בֶר יָמ֗וּתוּ וּבָֽרָעָב֙ יִכְל֣וּ בְתוֹכֵ֔ךְ וְהַ֨שְּׁלִשִׁ֔ית בַּחֶ֖רֶב יִפְּל֣וּ סְבִיבוֹתָ֑יִךְ וְהַשְּׁלִישִׁית֙ לְכָל ר֣וּחַ אֱזָרֶ֔ה וְחֶ֖רֶב אָרִ֥יק אַחֲרֵיהֶֽם

third your · in/at the pestilence · to die · and in/at the famine · to finish · in/at midst your · and the third · in/at the sword · to fall · surroundings your · and the third · to/for all of · spirit · to scatter · and sword · to empty · after them

וְכָלָ֣ה אַפִּ֗י וַהֲנִחוֹתִ֧י חֲמָתִ֛י בָּ֖ם וְהִנֶּחָ֑מְתִּי וְֽיָדְע֞וּ כִּי אֲנִ֣י יְהוָ֗ה דִּבַּ֨רְתִּי֙ בְּקִנְאָתִ֔י בְּכַלּוֹתִ֥י חֲמָתִ֖י בָּֽם

and to finish · nose my · and to rest · wrath my · in/at them · and to comfort · and to know · that · I · LORD · to speak · in/at jealousy my · in/at to finish me · wrath my · in/at them

וְאֶתְּנֵךְ֙ לְחָרְבָּ֣ה וּלְחֶרְפָּ֔ה בַּגּוֹיִ֖ם אֲשֶׁ֣ר סְבִיבוֹתָ֑יִךְ לְעֵינֵ֖י כָּל עוֹבֵֽר

and to give you · to/for ruin · and to/for reproach · in/at the nations · which · surroundings your · to/for eyes of · all of · passing over

וְֽהָ֨יְתָ֜ה חֶרְפָּ֤ה וּגְדוּפָה֙ מוּסָ֣ר וּמְשַׁמָּ֔ה לַגּוֹיִ֖ם אֲשֶׁ֣ר סְבִיבוֹתָ֑יִךְ בַּעֲשׂוֹתִי֩ בָ֨ךְ שְׁפָטִ֜ים בְּאַ֤ף וּבְחֵמָה֙ וּבְתֹכְח֣וֹת חֵמָ֔ה אֲנִ֥י יְהוָ֖ה דִּבַּֽרְתִּי

and to be · reproach · and taunt · discipline · and devastation · to/for the nations · which · surroundings your · in/at to do me · in/at you · judgments · in/at nose · and in/at wrath · and in/at rebukes of · wrath · I · LORD · to speak

בְּֽשַׁלְּחִ֡י אֶת חִצֵּי֩ הָרָעָ֨ב הָרָעִ֤ים בָּהֶם֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר הָי֣וּ לְמַשְׁחִ֔ית אֲשֶׁר אֲשַׁלַּ֥ח אוֹתָ֖ם לְשַֽׁחֶתְכֶ֑ם וְרָעָב֙ אֹסֵ֣ף עֲלֵיכֶ֔ם וְשָׁבַרְתִּ֥י לָכֶ֖ם מַטֵּה לָֽחֶם
