Genesis 12

וַיֹּ֤אמֶר יְהוָה֙ אֶל אַבְרָ֔ם לֶךְ לְךָ֛ מֵאַרְצְךָ֥ וּמִמּֽוֹלַדְתְּךָ֖ וּמִבֵּ֣ית אָבִ֑יךָ אֶל הָאָ֖רֶץ אֲשֶׁ֥ר אַרְאֶֽךָּ

and to say · LORD · to · Abram · walk · to/for you · from land your · and from offspring your · and from house of · father your · to · the land · which · to see you

וְאֶֽעֶשְׂךָ֙ לְג֣וֹי גָּד֔וֹל וַאֲבָ֣רֶכְךָ֔ וַאֲגַדְּלָ֖ה שְׁמֶ֑ךָ וֶהְיֵ֖ה בְּרָכָֽה

and to do you · to/for nation · great · and to bless you · and to grow · name your · and be · blessing

וַאֲבָֽרֲכָה֙ מְבָ֣רְכֶ֔יךָ וּמְקַלֶּלְךָ֖ אָאֹ֑ר וְנִבְרְכ֣וּ בְךָ֔ כֹּ֖ל מִשְׁפְּחֹ֥ת הָאֲדָמָֽה

and to bless · blessing you · and being light you · to curse · and to bless · in/at you · all of · families of · the ground

וַיֵּ֣לֶךְ אַבְרָ֗ם כַּאֲשֶׁ֨ר דִּבֶּ֤ר אֵלָיו֙ יְהוָ֔ה וַיֵּ֥לֶךְ אִתּ֖וֹ ל֑וֹט וְאַבְרָ֗ם בֶּן חָמֵ֤שׁ שָׁנִים֙ וְשִׁבְעִ֣ים שָׁנָ֔ה בְּצֵאת֖וֹ מֵחָרָֽן

and to walk · Abram · like/as which · to speak · to him · LORD · and to walk · with him · Lot · and Abram · son of · five · years · and seventy · year · in/at to go out him · from Haran

וַיִּקַּ֣ח אַבְרָם֩ אֶת שָׂרַ֨י אִשְׁתּ֜וֹ וְאֶת ל֣וֹט בֶּן אָחִ֗יו וְאֶת כָּל רְכוּשָׁם֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר רָכָ֔שׁוּ וְאֶת הַנֶּ֖פֶשׁ אֲשֶׁר עָשׂ֣וּ בְחָרָ֑ן וַיֵּצְא֗וּ לָלֶ֨כֶת֙ אַ֣רְצָה כְּנַ֔עַן וַיָּבֹ֖אוּ אַ֥רְצָה כְּנָֽעַן

and to take · Abram · - · Sarai · woman his · and - · Lot · son of · brother his · and - · all of · property their · which · to gather · and - · the soul · which · to do · in/at Haran · and to go out · to walk · land toward · Canaan · and to enter · land toward · Canaan

וַיַּעֲבֹ֤ר אַבְרָם֙ בָּאָ֔רֶץ עַ֚ד מְק֣וֹם שְׁכֶ֔ם עַ֖ד אֵל֣וֹן מוֹרֶ֑ה וְהַֽכְּנַעֲנִ֖י אָ֥ז בָּאָֽרֶץ

and to pass over · Abram · in/at the land · until · place of · Shechem · until · oak of · Moreh · and the Canaanite · then · in/at the land

וַיֵּרָ֤א יְהוָה֙ אֶל אַבְרָ֔ם וַיֹּ֕אמֶר לְזַ֨רְעֲךָ֔ אֶתֵּ֖ן אֶת הָאָ֣רֶץ הַזֹּ֑את וַיִּ֤בֶן שָׁם֙ מִזְבֵּ֔חַ לַיהוָ֖ה הַנִּרְאֶ֥ה אֵלָֽיו

and to see · LORD · to · Abram · and to say · to/for seed your · to give · - · the land · the this · and to build · there · altar · to/for LORD · the seeing · to him

וַיַּעְתֵּ֨ק מִשָּׁ֜ם הָהָ֗רָה מִקֶּ֛דֶם לְבֵֽית אֵ֖ל וַיֵּ֣ט אָהֳלֹ֑ה בֵּֽית אֵ֤ל מִיָּם֙ וְהָעַ֣י מִקֶּ֔דֶם וַיִּֽבֶן שָׁ֤ם מִזְבֵּ֨חַ֙ לַֽיהוָ֔ה וַיִּקְרָ֖א בְּשֵׁ֥ם יְהוָֽה

וַיִּסַּ֣ע אַבְרָ֔ם הָל֥וֹךְ וְנָס֖וֹעַ הַנֶּֽגְבָּה

and to journey · Abram · to walk · and to journey · the south toward

וַיְהִ֥י רָעָ֖ב בָּאָ֑רֶץ וַיֵּ֨רֶד אַבְרָ֤ם מִצְרַ֨יְמָה֙ לָג֣וּר שָׁ֔ם כִּֽי כָבֵ֥ד הָרָעָ֖ב בָּאָֽרֶץ

and to be · famine · in/at the land · and to go down · Abram · Egypt toward · to sojourn · there · that · heavy · the famine · in/at the land

וַיְהִ֕י כַּאֲשֶׁ֥ר הִקְרִ֖יב לָב֣וֹא מִצְרָ֑יְמָה וַיֹּ֨אמֶר֙ אֶל שָׂרַ֣י אִשְׁתּ֔וֹ הִנֵּה נָ֣א יָדַ֔עְתִּי כִּ֛י אִשָּׁ֥ה יְפַת מַרְאֶ֖ה אָֽתְּ

and to be · like/as which · to approach · to enter · Egypt toward · and to say · to · Sarai · woman his · behold · please · to know · that · woman · beautiful of · sight · you

וְהָיָ֗ה כִּֽי יִרְא֤וּ אֹתָךְ֙ הַמִּצְרִ֔ים וְאָמְר֖וּ אִשְׁתּ֣וֹ זֹ֑את וְהָרְג֥וּ אֹתִ֖י וְאֹתָ֥ךְ יְחַיּֽוּ

אִמְרִי נָ֖א אֲחֹ֣תִי אָ֑תְּ לְמַ֨עַן֙ יִֽיטַב לִ֣י בַעֲבוּרֵ֔ךְ וְחָיְתָ֥ה נַפְשִׁ֖י בִּגְלָלֵֽךְ

say · please · sister my · you · for the sake of · to be good · to/for me · in/at because of your · and to live · soul my · in/at on account of your

וַיְהִ֕י כְּב֥וֹא אַבְרָ֖ם מִצְרָ֑יְמָה וַיִּרְא֤וּ הַמִּצְרִים֙ אֶת הָ֣אִשָּׁ֔ה כִּֽי יָפָ֥ה הִ֖וא מְאֹֽד

and to be · like/as to enter · Abram · Egypt toward · and to see · the Egyptians · - · the woman · that · beautiful · he · exceedingly

וַיִּרְא֤וּ אֹתָהּ֙ שָׂרֵ֣י פַרְעֹ֔ה וַיְהַֽלְל֥וּ אֹתָ֖הּ אֶל פַּרְעֹ֑ה וַתֻּקַּ֥ח הָאִשָּׁ֖ה בֵּ֥ית פַּרְעֹֽה

and to see · - her · princes of · Pharaoh · and to praise · - her · to · Pharaoh · and to take · the woman · house of · Pharaoh

וּלְאַבְרָ֥ם הֵיטִ֖יב בַּעֲבוּרָ֑הּ וַֽיְהִי ל֤וֹ צֹאן וּבָקָר֙ וַחֲמֹרִ֔ים וַעֲבָדִים֙ וּשְׁפָחֹ֔ת וַאֲתֹנֹ֖ת וּגְמַלִּֽים

and to/for Abram · to be good · in/at because of her · and to be · to/for him · flock · and cattle · and donkeys · and servants · and maids · and donkeys · and camels

וַיְנַגַּ֨ע יְהוָ֧ה אֶת פַּרְעֹ֛ה נְגָעִ֥ים גְּדֹלִ֖ים וְאֶת בֵּית֑וֹ עַל דְּבַ֥ר שָׂרַ֖י אֵ֥שֶׁת אַבְרָֽם

and to touch · LORD · - · Pharaoh · plagues · great · and - · house his · upon · word of · Sarai · woman of · Abram

וַיִּקְרָ֤א פַרְעֹה֙ לְאַבְרָ֔ם וַיֹּ֕אמֶר מַה זֹּ֖את עָשִׂ֣יתָ לִּ֑י לָ֚מָּה לֹא הִגַּ֣דְתָּ לִּ֔י כִּ֥י אִשְׁתְּךָ֖ הִֽוא

and to call · Pharaoh · to/for Abram · and to say · what · this · to do · to/for me · to/for what · not · to make known · to/for me · that · woman your · he

לָמָ֤ה אָמַ֨רְתָּ֙ אֲחֹ֣תִי הִ֔וא וָאֶקַּ֥ח אֹתָ֛הּ לִ֖י לְאִשָּׁ֑ה וְעַתָּ֕ה הִנֵּ֥ה אִשְׁתְּךָ֖ קַ֥ח וָלֵֽךְ

וַיְצַ֥ו עָלָ֛יו פַּרְעֹ֖ה אֲנָשִׁ֑ים וַֽיְשַׁלְּח֥וּ אֹת֛וֹ וְאֶת אִשְׁתּ֖וֹ וְאֶת כָּל אֲשֶׁר לֽוֹ
