Ezekiel 8

וַיְהִ֣י בַּשָּׁנָ֣ה הַשִּׁשִּׁ֗ית בַּשִּׁשִּׁי֙ בַּחֲמִשָּׁ֣ה לַחֹ֔דֶשׁ אֲנִי֙ יוֹשֵׁ֣ב בְּבֵיתִ֔י וְזִקְנֵ֥י יְהוּדָ֖ה יוֹשְׁבִ֣ים לְפָנָ֑י וַתִּפֹּ֤ל עָלַי֙ שָׁ֔ם יַ֖ד אֲדֹנָ֥י יְהֹוִֽה

וָאֶרְאֶ֗ה וְהִנֵּ֤ה דְמוּת֙ כְּמַרְאֵה אֵ֔שׁ מִמַּרְאֵ֥ה מָתְנָ֛יו וּלְמַ֖טָּה אֵ֑שׁ וּמִמָּתְנָ֣יו וּלְמַ֔עְלָה כְּמַרְאֵה זֹ֖הַר כְּעֵ֥ין הַחַשְׁמַֽלָה

and to see · and behold · likeness · like/as sight of · fire · from sight of · loins his · and to/for downwards · fire · and from loins his · and to/for above toward · like/as sight of · brightness · like/as eye of · the amber

וַיִּשְׁלַח֙ תַּבְנִ֣ית יָ֔ד וַיִּקָּחֵ֖נִי בְּצִיצִ֣ת רֹאשִׁ֑י וַתִּשָּׂ֣א אֹתִ֣י ר֣וּחַ בֵּֽין הָאָ֣רֶץ וּבֵ֣ין הַשָּׁמַ֡יִם וַתָּבֵא֩ אֹתִ֨י יְרוּשָׁלְַ֜מָה בְּמַרְא֣וֹת אֱלֹהִ֗ים אֶל פֶּ֜תַח שַׁ֤עַר הַפְּנִימִית֙ הַפּוֹנֶ֣ה צָפ֔וֹנָה אֲשֶׁר שָׁ֣ם מוֹשַׁ֔ב סֵ֖מֶל הַקִּנְאָ֥ה הַמַּקְנֶֽה

and to send · pattern of · hand · and to take me · in/at tassel of · head my · and to lift · - me · spirit · between · the land · and between · the heaven(s) · and to enter · - me · Jerusalem toward · in/at visions of · God(s) · to · doorway of · gate of · the inner · the turning · north toward · which · there · dwelling place of · idol of · the jealousy · the acquiring

וְהִ֨נֵּה שָׁ֔ם כְּב֖וֹד אֱלֹהֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל כַּמַּרְאֶ֕ה אֲשֶׁ֥ר רָאִ֖יתִי בַּבִּקְעָֽה

and behold · there · glory of · God(s) of · Israel · like/as the sight · which · to see · in/at the valley

וַיֹּ֣אמֶר אֵלַ֔י בֶּן אָדָ֕ם שָׂא נָ֥א עֵינֶ֖יךָ דֶּ֣רֶךְ צָפ֑וֹנָה וָאֶשָּׂ֤א עֵינַי֙ דֶּ֣רֶךְ צָפ֔וֹנָה וְהִנֵּ֤ה מִצָּפוֹן֙ לְשַׁ֣עַר הַמִּזְבֵּ֔חַ סֵ֛מֶל הַקִּנְאָ֥ה הַזֶּ֖ה בַּבִּאָֽה

and to say · to me · son of · man · lift · please · eyes your · way of · north toward · and to lift · eyes my · way of · north toward · and behold · from north · to/for gate of · the altar · idol of · the jealousy · the this · in/at the entrance

וַיֹּ֣אמֶר אֵלַ֔י בֶּן אָדָ֕ם הֲרֹאֶ֥ה אַתָּ֖ה מהם מָ֣ה הֵ֣ם עֹשִׂ֑ים תּוֹעֵב֨וֹת גְּדֹל֜וֹת אֲשֶׁ֥ר בֵּֽית יִשְׂרָאֵ֣ל עֹשִׂ֣ים פֹּ֗ה לְרָֽחֳקָה֙ מֵעַ֣ל מִקְדָּשִׁ֔י וְעוֹד֙ תָּשׁ֣וּב תִּרְאֶ֔ה תּוֹעֵב֖וֹת גְּדֹלֽוֹת

and to say · to me · son of · man · seeing · you · from them · what · they · doing · abominations · great · which · house of · Israel · doing · here · to be far · from upon · sanctuary my · and still · to return · to see · abominations · great

וַיָּבֵ֥א אֹתִ֖י אֶל פֶּ֣תַח הֶֽחָצֵ֑ר וָאֶרְאֶ֕ה וְהִנֵּ֥ה חֹר אֶחָ֖ד בַּקִּֽיר

וַיֹּ֣אמֶר אֵלַי֮ הֲרָאִ֣יתָ בֶן אָדָם֒ הֲנָקֵל֙ לְבֵ֣ית יְהוּדָ֔ה מֵעֲשׂ֕וֹת אֶת הַתּוֹעֵב֖וֹת אֲשֶׁ֣ר עָֽשׂוּ פֹ֑ה כִּֽי מָלְא֨וּ אֶת הָאָ֜רֶץ חָמָ֗ס וַיָּשֻׁ֨בוּ֙ לְהַכְעִיסֵ֔נִי וְהִנָּ֛ם שֹׁלְחִ֥ים אֶת הַזְּמוֹרָ֖ה אֶל אַפָּֽם

and to say · to me · to see · son of · man · to be light · to/for house of · Judah · from to do · - · the abominations · which · to do · here · that · to fill · - · the land · violence · and to return · to be angry me · and behold them · sending · - · the branch · to · nose their

וְגַם אֲנִי֙ אֶעֱשֶׂ֣ה בְחֵמָ֔ה לֹֽא תָח֥וֹס עֵינִ֖י וְלֹ֣א אֶחְמֹ֑ל וְקָרְא֤וּ בְאָזְנַי֙ ק֣וֹל גָּד֔וֹל וְלֹ֥א אֶשְׁמַ֖ע אוֹתָֽם
