Jonah 3

וַיְהִ֧י דְבַר יְהוָ֛ה אֶל יוֹנָ֖ה שֵׁנִ֥ית לֵאמֹֽר

ק֛וּם לֵ֥ךְ אֶל נִֽינְוֵ֖ה הָעִ֣יר הַגְּדוֹלָ֑ה וִּקְרָ֤א אֵלֶ֨יהָ֙ אֶת הַקְּרִיאָ֔ה אֲשֶׁ֥ר אָנֹכִ֖י דֹּבֵ֥ר אֵלֶֽיךָ

rise · walk · to · Nineveh · the city · the great · and call · to her · - · the proclamation · which · I · speaking · to you

וַיָּ֣קָם יוֹנָ֗ה וַיֵּ֛לֶךְ אֶל נִֽינְוֶ֖ה כִּדְבַ֣ר יְהוָ֑ה וְנִֽינְוֵ֗ה הָיְתָ֤ה עִיר גְּדוֹלָה֙ לֵֽאלֹהִ֔ים מַהֲלַ֖ךְ שְׁלֹ֥שֶׁת יָמִֽים

and to rise · Jonah · and to walk · to · Nineveh · like/as word of · LORD · and Nineveh · to be · city · great · to/for God(s) · walk of · three · days

וַיָּ֤חֶל יוֹנָה֙ לָב֣וֹא בָעִ֔יר מַהֲלַ֖ךְ י֣וֹם אֶחָ֑ד וַיִּקְרָא֙ וַיֹּאמַ֔ר ע֚וֹד אַרְבָּעִ֣ים י֔וֹם וְנִֽינְוֵ֖ה נֶהְפָּֽכֶת

and to profane · Jonah · to enter · in/at the city · walk of · day · one · and to call · and to say · still · forty · day · and Nineveh · overturning

וַֽיַּאֲמִ֛ינוּ אַנְשֵׁ֥י נִֽינְוֵ֖ה בֵּֽאלֹהִ֑ים וַיִּקְרְאוּ צוֹם֙ וַיִּלְבְּשׁ֣וּ שַׂקִּ֔ים מִגְּדוֹלָ֖ם וְעַד קְטַנָּֽם

and to confirm · men of · Nineveh · in/at God(s) · and to call · fast · and to clothe · sacks · from great their · and until · small their

וַיִּגַּ֤ע הַדָּבָר֙ אֶל מֶ֣לֶך נִֽינְוֵ֔ה וַיָּ֨קָם֙ מִכִּסְא֔וֹ וַיַּעֲבֵ֥ר אַדַּרְתּ֖וֹ מֵֽעָלָ֑יו וַיְכַ֣ס שַׂ֔ק וַיֵּ֖שֶׁב עַל הָאֵֽפֶר

and to touch · the word · to · king of · Nineveh · and to rise · from throne his · and to pass over · glory his · from upon him · and to cover · sackcloth · and to dwell · upon · the ashes

וַיַּזְעֵ֗ק וַיֹּ֨אמֶר֙ בְּנִֽינְוֵ֔ה מִטַּ֧עַם הַמֶּ֛לֶךְ וּגְדֹלָ֖יו לֵאמֹ֑ר הָאָדָ֨ם וְהַבְּהֵמָ֜ה הַבָּקָ֣ר וְהַצֹּ֗אן אַֽל יִטְעֲמוּ֙ מְא֔וּמָה אַ֨ל יִרְע֔וּ וּמַ֖יִם אַל יִשְׁתּֽוּ

and to cry out · and to say · in/at Nineveh · from taste of · the king · and great his · to say · the man · and the beast · the cattle · and the flock · not · to taste · anything · not · to shepherd · and water · not · to drink

וְיִתְכַּסּ֣וּ שַׂקִּ֗ים הָֽאָדָם֙ וְהַבְּהֵמָ֔ה וְיִקְרְא֥וּ אֶל אֱלֹהִ֖ים בְּחָזְקָ֑ה וְיָשֻׁ֗בוּ אִ֚ישׁ מִדַּרְכּ֣וֹ הָֽרָעָ֔ה וּמִן הֶחָמָ֖ס אֲשֶׁ֥ר בְּכַפֵּיהֶֽם

and to cover · sacks · the man · and the beast · and to call · to · God(s) · in/at might · and to return · man · from way his · the evil · and from · the violence · which · in/at palms their

מִֽי יוֹדֵ֣עַ יָשׁ֔וּב וְנִחַ֖ם הָאֱלֹהִ֑ים וְשָׁ֛ב מֵחֲר֥וֹן אַפּ֖וֹ וְלֹ֥א נֹאבֵֽד

who · knowing · to return · and to comfort · the God(s) · and to return · from anger of · nose his · and not · to perish

וַיַּ֤רְא הָֽאֱלֹהִים֙ אֶֽת מַ֣עֲשֵׂיהֶ֔ם כִּי שָׁ֖בוּ מִדַּרְכָּ֣ם הָרָעָ֑ה וַיִּנָּ֣חֶם הָאֱלֹהִ֗ים עַל הָרָעָ֛ה אֲשֶׁר דִּבֶּ֥ר לַעֲשׂוֹת לָהֶ֖ם וְלֹ֥א עָשָֽׂה
